Finally! Looking Fwd to End Results! - Dallas, TX

Althought I watch what I eat and workout...

Althought I watch what I eat and workout regularly, I had some problem areas that wouldn't go away and affected how pants/ shorts fit me. So finally did something about it!
Had lipo of lower abs, pubic area and flanks yesterday at 1pm. Feeling pretty good today.
Arrived at Dr. Yesterday, was taken right back and given pill to mellow me out. They took pics and Dr. came in and marked me up. He walked me back and they put me on bed, the CRNA had already talked with me, he numbed my arm put in IV and next thing I knew I woke up with garment on as well as my clothes. My immediate feeling was a burning stinging sensation in the areas he lipo'd. Came home and ate (finally) and took first pain pill. I've been steady with the pain pills every 4 hours, even though it says every 3. Started antibiotic and pills for swelling (medrol dose pak). Lots of bruising below garment. I did have some leaking/blood through garment onto sheet last night but that seems to have stopped. this compression garment isn't too bad but the hook and eye crotch is the biggest pain, I've been peeing a lot! But I am glad if it will help with swelling. I have some spanx, I will switch out with in a few days because it has flap for crotch. I feel like the tightness of the garment near snap is what is causing bruising. I am taking arnica and sending hubby for some bromelin.
I took several before pics that I will post soon!

Day 3 post op and I feel really good today. Rested all day yesterday, took Tylenol 500mg once during day then back to Percocet for the night. Loved my shower yesterday and getting the garment off and washed. I am very bruised at the top of my legs where garment stops, I had nothing done in that area, I guess the garment is just pushing the swelling/ bruising down. I have a lot of bruising on my back too, not sure why. My incisions look really good. One on each flank and then my belly button. I have follow up tomorrow. I have some pics to post but can't figure how to do on iPad so will get my laptop and post. I def see and feel change even with swelling. Got out a little today and both pairs of shorts I tried on to wear were very loose, I know the gament helps but I've worn spanx and not gotten this much of a difference. So I feel really positive about the outcome. I'm done with Percocet, I can tell its gonna clog me. I'll stick with Tylenol if possible. Still taking antibiotics and swelling meds, also arnica tabs and cream.
Getting up and down is where the most pain is now, still very numb.

Adding a few pics finally. You can see the bruising at the top of my legs in the 2nd pic. I saw Dr. for follow up today. He said all looked good, swelling and bruising all the norm. Just keep wearing garment etc. Holy percocet! Even though I tried to drink lots of fluids AND take colace AND drink my fiber drink it still got to me. Can't imagine had it been any worse. Geez. Done with that. Only tylenol OTC now. Got out and about the most today, felt really good, just sore and careful with some ways I move my self but otherwise feeling really good. I am still drinking lots of fluids and peeing A LOT but that makes me feel like I can head off some of the swelling. Best wishes to all you others out there!!

I'm adding some more pics, so I'm 11 days post op....

I'm adding some more pics, so I'm 11 days post op. Pain wise pretty good only need a tylenol occasionally. Getting in and out of car, or hitting a bump in the car doesn't feel great. Bruising beginning to fad. I feel like my thighs are swollen and nothing was done there. Today, put on some jeans and kinda felt like a sausage in them. No love handles or pubic fat, so that was nice but pant didn't feel that great. Couldn't wait to get home and get into yoga pants. Still taking bromelain and arnica. Trying to drink LOTS of water. I do pee a lot so happy about that-lol. I don't think I've mentioned my husband had gynocomastia early August and while in there got some lipo. So I can obviously follow his results but more fun to talk to you guys! Anyhow, at around one month all his clothes were fitting very loose. So i know as each week goes by there will be results. I'm ok with today's pics because I know sitting here writing this I can feel my tummy and it's flatter, no bulge. Garment is annyoing but I wear it 24/7.

2 weeks post op and feeling really good! I was...

2 weeks post op and feeling really good! I was kinda bummed last weekend with swelling but this week it has gone down some each day and I'm really happy with how clothes are feeling! I'm ready to exercise but my broken toe ( i broke it one week b4 surgery) is putting a damper on that. I have not been back to work since surgery. I am a flight attendant and the toe issue is stopping me from working. But it has really given me more time to heal. The garment is not as bothersome. Probably because it is not as tight as at first. But it is still plenty tight. I just love the flat stomach and hips. I'm large breasted and always hated robes that tied at waist because It made my hips look so big. I got a new robe at soma and I LOVE that it looks normal on me!! I'm putting a few more pics up. My bruising is still there but getting better.

I'm just past 5 weeks post op. each week gets better. I am also adding a pic. The most noticeable to me is when i sit down, I'm not secretly reaching in my pants to tug my panties up OVER my pouch~seriously!! I can reach down and just feel a flat tummy, even when I take garment off. I'm still wearing garment. Will wear it till 6 weeks. I definitely recommend buying some NEW clothes. I've said before but it's true. Your old clothes are gonna be stretched where your fat was and you can't feel smaller till you put on something that isn't conformed to your 'old' body. My two incisions are healing nicely. One is still scabbed and one has already fallen off. I still feel numb. That's a really weird feeling. I'm back at the gym with weights. I still have to take it easy because of my broken toe still healing. But I would say I am happy with my results.

Had a follow up today. I am ten weeks out tomorrow...

Had a follow up today. I am ten weeks out tomorrow. I am very happy with my results. I went back to weight training Nov. 1 and added in cardio and zumba as well. I was delayed with exercise because of a broken toe. I quit wearing the CG after 6 weeks. I guess I feel occasional swelling. I went back to flying last week (I'm a Flt. Att, was out b/c of toe) I really expected to swell going back in the air but didn't seem to more than I normally do. I've continued with the bromelian. I really like anything that helps me flush out water weight. I try to push water or green tea ALL day. It truly makes a difference to rid excess toxins etc. I've been doing a lot of crunches and that seems like its tightening my tummy. I don't really feel like I have much loose skin, thank goodness. Now to get my thighs in shape. My thighs had the most bruising and swelling after surgery, they could still be a little swollen dr. said. I think if I do lipo there I would def have loose skin so I will try cardio and leg workouts first. I still love that when I sit down, I can reach down and rub my flat tummy, there is no roll over my jeans. My kangaroo pouch is gone!!! I've enjoyed all of you others, hope everyone continues to get better each day and enjoy their results! (I added pics too)
