After 12 years of having saline implants..and a late in life surprise pregnancy at 40... noticed my rt implant looking slightly deflated. After 6 consults, chose Dr. Hackney out of Dallas. So far its been easy easy recovery. Went a cup size bigger and into cohesive gel. No bruising or swelling. No pain meds and I walked out of recovery room. Pics are 3 days post op..just trying to take it easy as i feel like i could get up and work out.

Doing great...everything looks good.. got released a week early to start gently exercising on a stationary bike... still can't figure out how to convert pics taken from phone to upload...

Been three weeks...doing great...get to start on...

Been three weeks...doing great...get to start on the eliptical this week..over the next three weeks will layer in a little more exercise until Im able to resume running and yoga. ..hopefully in another three weeks. Have had no swelling or tightness..little tingling on occassion that I assume is the healing process. Really happy with size..told M.D. before surgery that I really wanted to make a small d cup so if he erred in surgery to do it on the large side...ended up with 500 moderate plus cohesive gel...I'm a full d with nice upper polarity and fullness..but doesnt look fake...they are nice and soft.

Had my one month consult. .everything looks good.....

Had my one month consult. .everything looks good...M.D. had me start wearing steri strips over the suture scar. Went and got fitted for bras since nothing I had is big enough. Ladies, if you are going to spend the money for boobs..don't buy cheap bras...go to nordstroms or dillards or neiman marcus and get a real fitting by someone who knows what they are doing. ..I ended up larger then anticipated and didn't know were to start...Victoria secrets was way off...they tried to put me into a 34d...I am a 32ddd...implants need a larger cup as they are wider generally then regular breast tissue.

Six week mark yesterday...did my first run in six weeks along with a heavy lower body weight work out... felt good. . Yoga today might be a little interesting. .. having a hard time finding a sports bra that can handle ddd size and high impact. .. bought the enell bra..its about as close to no bounce as I'm going to find. . But it is ugly. . And huge!

I just turned 6 weeks today too, have you started your upper body workout yet? Trying to decide when is the best time to start!

Started on the bike after 2wks, eliptical after 3wks, lite legs workout after 4 wks, and full running and power yoga after 6wks. Good luck getting back into the swing of things

Beth the onl y pictures I ha ve were taken from my phone. I'm showing they converted to jpeg when uploading off computer but then it says file must be converted??? Any thought?

I will PM you with some additional ideas but currently RealSelf does not support photos from mobile phones or tablets. Sounds like some difficulty converting the photo format.
