BBL! More Curves! - Dallas, TX

Hi dolls! Ok so I went for my first consult back...

Hi dolls! Ok so I went for my first consult back in 3/2012. I weighed 131 and am 5'4. He suggested I gain more weight. Here I am 10 months later and 11 lbs heavier I went back for a 2nd consult and he said I'm at a perfect weight and have enough "love handles" to do the trick. I went for my 2nd consult yesterday and I scheduled my surgery for the 22nd of next month already. I go for my labwork at the end of the month, but other then that everything else is a done deal. I have a friend who is actually the case before mine and is doing the same thing! So we can call eachother during the recovery process if we may have any q's lol I'll post pictures up later when I get a chance to take a before picture. I have curves just my love handles really hide them and my butt could be a little higher up and of course more big! He made me feel better when he said that he would try to get all the fat he possibly can take out. I'll keep posting things when the date gets closer! I'm nervous yet anxious!! Let's get it!!

Hey ladies ! I have a Q!! I've been reading on here how painful yall still are after 1 week post op. How long did yall request off work? I was thinking 1 week but from the reviews here.... I don't think that's enough??

Less then two weeks away!! Getting super anxious...

3 weeks post op and I feel awesome. I'm so happy...

3 weeks post op and I feel awesome. I'm so happy with results by Dr. Meade and his bedside manner is just awesome. He called me the next morning to talk to me not only that after my surgery he went all the way to the waiting room to talk to my family members that were there. He took the time to answer any of their questions or concerns and gave them special instructions. When I saw him for my two week post op he took his time to review my body and answer any concerns I had. I'm so happy with his work and im recommending anybody and everybody who wants to get some work done. He's so down to earth that I forget he's my Dr and talk to him so comfortably.

Great review?

Congrats on your results! How many cc's did you get? How much did you weigh at time of surgery? Just curious cuz I am 5'3" 131 lbs and wonder how much I should gain.

I got 500 ccs in each side... I'm 5`4 and weighed 147... I purposely gained for the surgery.

Hi there, welcome and thanks so much for sharing your journey with us.

Wow, your surgery will be here before you know it. Are you all prepared? I haven't had the surgery myself, but from what I've read 1 week isn't enough time off, especially if you have an office job or something which requires you to sit quite a lot.

Has your doctor given you any advice on how much time to take off?

Yes my surgery is tomorrow! It really hasn't hit me yet. It'll probably hit me tomorrow when I'm there lol. But yes he went over how much time ill need off, he knows what I do for work.. I'm a medical assistant so I'm on my feet a lot. He suggested I be off for 2 weeks but okay'd 1 week. If I need to be off longer then thats something that I will have to judge for myself 1 week post op. I already have all my rxs and I just got to go home today and pack my bag for tomorrow. I will defiantly take a pictures tonight of me before. Ty!

Good luck for tomorrow, I hope everything goes well for you and you have a painless recovery (as painless as is possible). I'll definitely be looking out for you updates, so let us know how you are, once you're able to after surgery!
