Update - 15 days post op
I hate to say it...but I guess you get what you pay for. As I look at the pics, although I do notice a difference, I can see where the doctor could have taken more out of my one side, they look uneven. I don't think this is due to swelling, as I have not been swollen or felt swollen at all.
I am still waiting and hoping that the results improve, and as I read through posts and stuff about lipo, I keep hearing people say that it takes about 3-4 months before you really see and can be 6 months before the final results are able to be seen.
I am happy that I have less to work off on my own, but disappointed because I don't feel like this Dr took the time to do it right the first time. Oh and just to clarify a mistake I originally typed...it was a "Buy With Me" deal that I purchased not KgB deal.

I have been working out hard for the last 2 years...

I have been working out hard for the last 2 years and have lost about 25 lbs on my own by exercise and a healthy eating lifestyle. I continue to workout and eat right, but still have some spots that are taking longer than others to lean out. When I saw a KGB deal for liposuction of the love handles...I became interested. After my bf and I did research on tumescent lipo, we both decided to go ahead with it.

The whole procedure took only about 1hr, and was not painful at all. I did have some "burning sensation" while the Dr was putting in the lidocaine/fluid solution and he told me it was because I work out it made my connective tissues "fibrous" and that makes it a bit tougher to get through, where as if I had more fat, then it would have "slid in like butter". After it was all said and done, it was not bad at all! I cleaned up, put on my garment and was free to go home.

The first day, I went straight home and took a nap to sleep off the valium and vidodin. The next day, although the garment was uncomfortable, there wasn't really any pain associated with it. As the next few days went by, I continued to have some numbness in the areas where the cannula was put in, and every now and then, I had some "burning" type sensations which would randomly occur (possibly from the tightness of the garment??). Also a few days after the procedure I noticed I had some "infection" coming out of one of the cannula holes on my side, I contacted the Doc and he prescibed some more anti-biotics and suggested I was the area 2 x/day with peroxide....it cleared up within 1 day.

I did take pictures and I had already noticed that there was a difference in the contour of my body!!

It has only been 11 days since the procedure and I am already back to my regular activities, as a matter of fact, I was back to my rigorous workout routine just 4 days after the procedure.

I will update more later...but as for now, I am happy with the results and anxiously awaiting the final results after the swelling goes down completely! :)

I will only rate this Dr as average, because I did have a hard time contacting him when I had concerns about infection near my "incision". It seems that although the office hours are 8-5, they are not really responsive before 2pm. The receptionist/nurse called me back at 8am and then I didn't hear back from the Dr until the afternoon. He did take time to see if I had any questions, but because we had done alot of research, I didn't have many questions.
