17 days post op...It seems that my stomach is...

WORTH IT$9,900
17 days post op...It seems that my stomach is flattest in the morning and at its best when I first wake up. As the day goes on and I sit at my desk all day, it starts to swell. It looks much better than it did before surgery, but I am sooo ready for the swelling to go down more and stay down so I can see better results. I'm still very happy with my results and am happy that everyday I feel stronger.

Dr. Bill Johnson

Overall rating

So far he has been friendly, honest and helpful. I will elaborate more after surgery.

How much it costs? If u don't mind.
wondering how the healing process is going for you?
it is going GREAT! I am so excited to see how it will look when all the swelling goes down. It is improving everyday. I am perfectly able to do everything as before surgery. Clothes just look so much better it is unreal. The swelling is still above scar and below belly button but it's slowly going down. The dr. told me it should be about 6 weeks before its gone. Thanks for checking up on me! Did you have yours yet? I thought you were scheduled for some time in April...
hi ... i know your post is from a year ago... but i am wondering if you can share some info. I had my Avelar TT 3/19/13... curious of how long swelling lasted for you and are you pleased with your results? i am so anxious to see what comes from my procedure :) Thank you in advance!
I just had my Alvelar Tummy Tuck done yesterday. I was quite nervous & scared. Today I am very soar & feel a whole lot of burning on the incision site. Just trying to keep positive cause I'm in so much pain but otherwise I look pretty good!

I'm now 10 days post op and feeling very good....

I'm now 10 days post op and feeling very good. Still swollen around the scar, but the upper abdomen is looking great. I'm able to do alot more and have my endurance back. Shopping was awesome...everything I tried on looked good and I know it is going to get even better than it is now. I can officially change my ranking to "Worth It".

Ok so 3 days post op...i'm feeling ok. pretty sore...

ok so 3 days post op...i'm feeling ok. pretty sore and stiff mostly. i was supposed to go back to work today but did not feel like i had the strength to sit in a chair for 8 hours. the lipo portion of the surgery was much worse than the tummy tuck. i had to get a shot of morphine and that really helped with the pain. still feeling a little slow due to all the meds in my system so going today without any to get rid of this feeling. i go back tomorrow to get drains taken out. i rated it undecided because it was alot of pain and until i see results i am still unsure if i would've benefitted more from good ol exercise and diet. posting post op pics but beware....they are pretty nasty. I am still swollen too.

How was the surgery itself? I am having the same ind of tt in 2 weeks and just wondering what it was like. They said ill be sleeping but just wondering. thanks
They told me I'd be sleeping too...but I wasn't. The lipo was the most painful part particularly in certain areas (around the belly button and upper abdomen where there was less fat). It just seemed to take forever. At the end of lipo they gave me a shot of morphine...That did put me in and out of sleep. The tummy tuck portion I mostly just felt pulling. It did sting on my right side where the drain is and when he was stiching the right side. I was given 2 vallums (sp) and some hydrocodone prior. But I don't think they had the effect on me they were supposed to. Which is surprising because I'm usually pretty responsive to even Tylenol PM. You just have to be prepared that you will likely experience discomfort and some pain. But don't worry...it'll be over soon enough and hopefully the results will be worth it.
I hope so. Is that all you got was the med before? They are giving me a propifol(sp?) and ketamine(sp?) drip so i will be sleeping(i hope) i have such bad anxiety that if that dont knock me out all the ativan will lol. I have my pro-op today and i will be asking a zillion questions. Thank you so much for your input. It helps to have someone to talk to considering noone knows im having this done. well besides my husband. thanks again
yes, all i got was the oral meds about 30 min before and the morphine shot during. I think you getting the drip will help put you to sleep.
Congradulations!!
wondering how your healing? hope all is well
going really good...I am still swollen around the scar, but the upper abdomen looks awesome. I went shopping all day yesterday and had enough endurance to make it through that plus come home and clean. You really do feel better and stronger every day. Thanks for checking up on me..
