I have decided to get Vaser Lipo on my Upper and Lower Abs, Love Handles and Sacrum (area above the butt). I found a great, board certified plastic surgeon. At my consultation said my procedure would be considered large volume liposuction, I would be under general anesthesia and the procedure would take approx 3 hours. He estimated he would remove 4 to 5 liters of fat.

I am not really scared for the procedure to be done because I am going to be asleep. I already had my pre-op appointment and he gave me all of my precriptions. He said I am going to have alot of swelling from the surgery and the fluid so he is choosing to put in a drain tube. Now that part scares me! I can imagine how that thing is going to feel coming out. OUCH! But if it will help I am willing to do it.

I will post before and after pictures and updates after the procedure. Any question, comments, or advice is welcome.

Okay, so tomorrow is the big day. I have to be there at 11:00am. I think I have everything ready. I got my RX's yesterday, Maxi Pads, pads to put on my bed, and an extra garment. I am alittle scared, but totally ready to get this over with. I will write another review tomorrow evening if I am up to it.

Well I am 6 hours post op. I have some mild discomfort at this time, but I can tell you when my pain meds started to wear off it was almost unbearable, certain areas felt like I was being stabbed with a knife. Now since I took more meds I am better and it is tolerable, but still pretty sore. The procedure itself went very well. They took 4 1/2 liters of fat out of me, alot more if you count the tumescent fluid. I have a drain tube and I am supposed to write down how much draining I have into the bulb that catches it, I have already had about 500 ml's come out. I can already clearly see that my abs are flat and my love handles are totally gone. The doctor did a great job!! I will update everyone tomorrow. I hoping to be able to sleep tonight.

I just took my after measurements. I was really skeptical to post my before because they were so bad it was embarrassing. However the after measurements are so much better, and I figured it would help everyone realize how wonderful this procedure really is.

Waist Before- 35.5 inches
Love Handle Area Before- 44 inches

Waist After- 33 inches (Lost 2.5 inches)
Love Handle Area After- 37 inches (Lost 7 inches)

Now keep in mind it has been 12 hours since my procedure and I am swollen, so after that goes down I will be smaller.

I will get after pictures tomorrow, when I am allowed to take the garment off to shower.

I am feeling pretty sore today. I washed my garment and got a shower, that made me feel alot better. My drainage has really slowed down a lot. I am posting after pictures, but as I said before, keep in mind I am still very swollen. The lumpy, curve things on my sides are from the garment wrinkling, it is just fluid build up. I feel alot smaller and am very happy with my results. I can't wait to see what I look like in a few weeks. I will keep everyone updated and I will be posting pictures weekly.

I am feeling pretty sore today. I washed my garment and got a shower, that made me feel alot better. My drainage has really slowed down a lot. Well I got a good nights sleep lastnight and when I woke up I feel a lot better. Ofcourse I am still sore but denifitely better than yesterday. When I first came home I was taking 2 Percocets every 4 hours, starting today I am going to try to cut back to one every 4. I took my meaurments again this morning, I will post them below. I think the most irratating thing of the soreness and swelling is the point that the outside of your vagina swells and gets very black and blue and sore. The doctor told me this was going to happen but I never thought it would be as bad as it is. When I go to sit down my garment hits the top of it and hurts very badly. I am still having a good bit of drainage, I never thought I would say this but thank God for the drain tube because I would be one swelled up mess without it. I reccomend anyone that has a large amount of fat removed with any kind of Lipo insist on a drain, it makes your swelling a recovery a whole lot better.

So my new measurements are:

Waist- 33 inches
Love Handle Area- 36 inches (dropped another inch since yesterday)

Down a total of 10.5 inches!!! YAY!!

Dr. Carpenter is AMAZING!!! He knows what he is doing and he listens to all of your concerns. I am only 6 hours out and I can clearly see a difference! I cannot say enough wonderful things about him, I highly recomend him!!

this seriously was the best thing to me.. but stay in shape u can gain some back..i love it. i dont have a fllabby stomach or huge arms or gross thighs
