I finally decided to take the plunge and get...

I finally decided to take the plunge and get boobies! I am 29 years old, 5'5", 137 lbs, no children. I have been flat as a board my whole life (32AA) and wanted larger breasts to fill more proportionate. After meeting with Dr. Vijay, we decided to go with Mentor Silicone 375cc. I wanted a natural look that still allowed me the ability to go horseback riding. =) Dr. Vijay said that going under the muscle was the best option for my lifestyle, lack of breast tissue, and smaller frame.

I had the surgery on 11/17/14 and I am post op day two of this review. I went to the hospital early and got checked in for my surgery. The staff were wonderful at Christus Spohn South in Corpus. Everyone made me feel at ease and calm. Dr. Vijay came in prior to the surgery and marked up by breasts. I went into the operating room and then bam...next thing I know I was walking up surrounded by wonderful nurses in the recovery room. My chest felt really tight but I was not in any pain.

They wheeled me to a private room to relax and spend time with my hubby. It was definitely hard moving from the wheel chair to the reclining chair. The anesthesia was making me feel very sick, so the staff gave me an anti-nauseous pill and told me to stay in the private room as long as I needed to. I was SO flipping thirsty! I had the worst cotton mouth and guzzled a ton of water.

The drive home was uncomfortable...loads of bumpy roads in Corpus and I was still fighting the nauseous. Once I got home my husband helped me into the recliner and fed me a healthy vegetable soup I had made ahead of time. I was not hungry, but eating really helped with the nauseous feeling in my stomach.

About an hour into being home the pain started in my chest. It hurt to breathe and it felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. I took Norco as prescribed and felt much better. I highly recommend that you stay ahead of the pain and take the pain meds exactly as written (i.e. every four hours, etc.)

Day two post op

Alright ladies...I admire those who have virtually no pain and seem to bounce back immediately, but I am finding out that this was a major surgery and there will be discomfort and some pain. I was so flat chested before my muscles and skin are so tight around the implants. I cannot wait for my body to relax! The muscle relaxers and Nordo are working wonders. I can tell when they wear off though as a throbbing pain starts in the breast area.

I still have yet to pull off the surgical bra. I will be able to take it off tomorrow and wash! I cannot wait for a nice warm shower to help loosen all the upper body tension!!! I will post updated pictures once the girls are out of the surgical bra.

I plan on going for a nice walk this evening. The doctor is encouraging light walking everyday to help with movement and to reduce swelling.

Starting Day 3 Post Op

Day three post op...yay! It has been about six hours since my last dose of Norco...feeling pretty good but having some sharp shooting pain in my right breast. I have been using my right arm more and more to get around and I must have over done it. My breast still feel extremely tight with a lot of swelling. I went for a few walks yesterday which seemed to really help with the swelling. I have been trying to eat high fiber foods to help with the bloating, but so such luck so far. I went ahead and took laxatives this morning as my stomach is starting to hurt pretty bad.

I will post more pictures on Thursday. No removing the surgical bra, wraps, or bathing for 72 hours so I do not have anything new or exciting to take pictures of. I am so ready to see what my girls look like tomorrow!

So far, so good! Dr.Vijay has made the process as pain free and relaxing as possible. He even called me the night before the surgery to make sure I was ok.
