I'm 22 5'7 and weigh about 128 lbs... Currently a 32 A. I went for my original consultation and left undecided between 400 and 450 cc... I'm going with saline, under the muscle and under the breast tuck, but now that the day is getting closer I am freaking out about making the wrong choice in size. Everyone says go bigger (some even say bigger then 450) but I don't want to end up with huge stretched boobs. I also dont want to end up with smaller boobs than expected and feel like I wasted $... Help!!!

you have to decide what cup size you want to be! cc amount looks different on everyone! if you feel 400cc or 450cc is right for you than go up about 50cc extra! because youll lose 50cc anyway once they are inserted!

I want to be full C... No smaller. Really? The doctor didnt mention that.

Go 450 then. I just got mine done and everyone told me to go 600. Dr said 450 and 500 would be best for me. And omg m huge! Def hoping they go down :-(

No pictures? What size were you before? 600 does seem like a lot, but I bet they look nice.

I was a 36b. I went with 450 on my right and 500 on my left. Dr put me in a 38DD sports bra. So not sure of my size till the swelling goes down.

Oh okay... So with 450 I could be looking at a D? Hope you can, I'd love to see your progess.

Please also look at the Explant section of this forum. Implants might be right for you now, but you may not want them forever. Make sure to think about after. I did 330/360 cc, ended up a full C, and 9 years later I'm a DD. I disagree with the whole "go bigger" idea. Find a pic of a pair you like and go with it.

The best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery is:

 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully.  Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you're looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.

 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals  with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining  breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals.
In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural”  or “C or D cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful.
Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup  size may also be inaccurate.

 3.  Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly,  allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals.

I am2 months out I had saline under muscle and only 240 ccs I am now a 34 D. I am 5 5 and 113.6 pounds. I lost about 5 pounds since surgery. They really do go down a bit. My advice and I am pretty conservative ( and 59 yrs old) is go bigger. It also takes at least 2 plus months for all to settle. One of mine still is higher and a bit smaller. I will decide at 6 months whether to do any revision surgery.

Went for my pre op today and we decided to go dmaller then what was originally discussed. Doctor said 370 cc would be good for the more natural look I want and that 400 or more would look real streched with my boobs and the amount of skin I have. I'm happy but nervous it'll look small. Any advice on preparing for surgery and recovery?
