I had it done one month ago. My doctor said it would give my skin more glow and energy but not really take away wrinkles, unless I had at least three treatments. He didn´t think I needed it - my skin was fine.

After the treatment it looked really good with no wrinkles, but now it´s all back to the same, though more glowing. The agespot almost disappeared. I might have got some more wrinkles, because the skin is really sensitive afterwards. I think that it needs really special care for a long time with a lot of moist and good creams. I drank redwine a few times after and the next day the skin was really effected badly.

I am happy I did it. I think the result would have been better if
1. I have stayed away from alcohol some time before and a month after.
2. I had used the aquaphore(vaseline) the whole month after the process. The skin seemed to need it.

The skin changes all the time and some days it look more clear and tight than others. But there is a definately difference for the better.

I used schrammek products, lotion, blemish balm and skincare during the process. My skin seemed to like it.I also have some good cleansing products.

I think the doctor was fine and very honest. I phoned him a couple of times and showed up during the peeling to ask if the process was going ok and he was there for me. What I really miss, was the after care process, and I am thinking he might not know. Because he feels to me as a doctor and not a beauty expert.

Your doctor shouldn't have done the procedure on you if you didn't need it! Make sure you always have sun screen on and please don't do anymore sessions. Many people including myself, are not happy with the results of fraxel; texture of skin has gotten worse. The texture of my skin was good prior to fraxel, but I had some acne scars which is the reason I did it. I had 6 sessions and went to a well known doctor.
