Well it has been 9 days and I feel remarkably well. My only concern is the right side feels like I pulled something it is sore. It actually feels better when I don't wear a support bra. The other side has no aches and soreness at all. Anyone else have this?

Yes, my left side has been my issue. It's still more tender than the right. I have bruising that went down to my hips on the left side too, which is still tender 16 days post op. I still have the let down feeling in both breast almost constantly.

Yes it is one side that hurts the other no pain. Also that same side must be dropping it looks smaller

My side that appears smaller and is higher is the side that hurts more....exactly like how you described it! Feels like I'm pulling a muscle!

Yes I am 11 days out and that side still has a deep hurt.it doesn't seem to hurt to the touch. Yes the stinging etc is usual

We went in the same day. Just updated too - yes, same issue, one side is much better than the other. Sounds like things are going as expected!

I am not a crazy homeopath but I really suggest you try arnica - I bypassed deep purple bruising completely and skipped straight to mild yellow bruising. I have it in both the gel and the tablets that dissolve under your tongue. They're like a little sugar tablet. I've used it for years and it helps with so much - from swelling to bruising to muscle stiffness. Target occasionally has it (ask at the pharmacy if you don't see it) or easily at a Vitamin Shoppe etc. SO worth it and I always have it on hand for kids in sports too.

Post Surgery

Well made it through surgery Thursday. I was doing better until yesterday and today. It is more uncomfortable than pain. I am so swollen even under arms and very bruised. The swelling is all the way down my hips. Hope tomorrow some swelling goes down

What cc did you have? Under or over the muscle? Under is more painful and takes longer to recover from. Let us know how you progress x

492 under muscle moderate. Today has been great fourth day. However I picked up my grandchild (20 lbs) hope I didn't do any damage. Thanks for ur cments

The swelling will go down, it took about a week for me. I also had bruising on the side of both breast and in the center. My left breast was more swollen and has bruising down my side and the right was less of both. The first few days are the worst! Take your meds, that made it so much more bearable.

After surgery

Has anyone found that they may have lumps after surgery during the healing process. I read that this can happen, clots, scar tissue, inflammation. Just wondered if that is pretty normal

Mine is scheduled for Wednesday. I'm really nervous, one more full day and a wakeup. Can't believe I'm actually doing this! I've read about so many different things about afterwards. Not sure about the lumps.

It's a very long day. Aches and pains all over. Boobs are real tender. The strap above the bra is the worst! Looking forward to feeling better.

Thanks, pain is a lot less, but now back to work and I could have used another day or 2 off. Gonna work from home tomorrow, so that should be better. Are you getting excited for your sx?

The only lumps I have are small ones at the incision site...they are smoothing out though. Good luck on your upcoming ba!! It's never too late!! Enjoy life!!:)
