One day I am excited the next I want to cancel. I feel I am too old to undergo a procedure like this. I am scared about so many things that could happen. I worry about anesthesia, neurosis, mammograms will not show cancerous situations, I won't enjoy these long due to my age. On the other hand I have wanted for a long time.

Thank you so much. I am trying to decide between 492 and 533. I am 14 1/2cm and 15 cm so I can accommodate. I am 5'4" 138 lbs and already had a tummy tuck

If you are on the fence, I think you should do it!! What a wonderful way to celebrate life and living well!! Especially if you have been wanting it for a long time. If you go under the muscle, it will not affect mammograms. You will enjoy them every single minute of every single day, and sweetie, you have decades to go of fun with them!! That's a long time. I got mine to celebrate my 40s and it's only been a year but I feel as if I've had them forever!!

Honestly. If they are your boobs now at 65 years young I don't think you need to get them done. They look fantastic. I actually thought they were a pic of my own and I'm 42yo. If it would boost your happiness, then go for it though. :-D

Hi. I'm sure this response isn't what you'd like to hear, but please, think long and hard how much you cherish your health before you complete this dream. So many woman of ALL ages cannot recover their health after implants. Our age is minor in comparison to our health. And without good health, breasts are just window dressing. Btw, I think you look AMAZING for 65. Good luck to you whatever you choose. xo

I monitor my health very carefully. I am going forward and hoping I will be very pleased. Thanks

Just do it, you will not regret, who cares about age " you do this for youself" .. so enjoy! I am 57 (5.4 and 138 lbs) had surgery 3 weeks ago and am " so happy"!

How are you doing now? Was the pain, etc bad after surgery. Are you pleased with results and healing nicely.
October 24, 2014
Doing great, healing fast and love my results. I have been reading soooo many reviews and expected to be in pure agony... but it was very menegable for me. I would rather discribe it as uncomfortable and unable to take care of yourself during the first 2 to 3 days. After that I took it like a holiday, no heavy lifting, no household tasks, no cooking, no work, ha ha life is wonderful!

TY for responding. I am so nervous. I will be having a mini crescent lift and 492 cm. I am thinking under breast as I don't want any nipple neurosis to happen. :)
October 25, 2014
l also had Inframammary incision because I just more comfortable about it. Try not to be to nervous & make the best out of it after all it's something you want and do for yourself. Healing process if more pleasant if you are relaxed. Enjoy getting spoiled!

Yes they wanted to put in through nipple lift (under muscle) but I think putting it through crease and lift separate is best.

Were you bloated from fluid

Closing in on November 6. I am sooo anxious. Any tips for that? Also has anyone had a crescent lift with implants?
October 28, 2014
You will be fine. I was so extremely nervous as well. I kept asking is all of this going to be worth it...the money, pain, recovery, family and friends. But at the end of the day I was just like you. I wanted this for me and no other reason. I had my surgery last Thursday. I arrived at 7am to meet with doctors and get prepped for surgery. Went to the OR at 8am. Laid on the table and all that was said to me was I doubt we will be talking in 5 minutes - see you when we are done. Then boom not even 5 seconds lights were out and I was waking up. I was really did not believe the surgery was completed. I took my pain Meds every 4 hours on Thursday and Friday. I stopped taking them Saturday evening because I was only sleeping. I have 2 small kids so I needed to get up and get moving. Have been using Tylenol for pain now and doing very well. Able to get to their football and cheerleading game tonight. Still in pain from the incision and have not been able to see it yet as I go back tomorrow for the checkup. I got 350 Mentor Hp unders with infra mamm incision. Best thing is go with your gut and have confidence in your surgeon. Hope this helps and best of luck

Thank you so much for responding. Sounds like you are doing great and will be very pleased with the results. I am getting 492 under muscle and a mini crescent lift. Here's hoping it goes well. :)

How did your getting out go? How was your followup appt?
October 29, 2014
I am having trouble getting the correct size sports bra for after surgery. I presently wear a 36C-D and have gotten a size 40 but it seems like I fill it out already. I don't want it to be too tight but what have others gotten (Size) that works. I will probably be going to a DD. Also did anyone take Arnica prior to surgery. My surgeon has it on the list for after
November 2, 2014
Any replies on how you ladies determined size of support bras? I have about four days left and really scared.

I'm scheduled for the 5th. I'm 30 and I've had a lot of the same thoughts as you. Excited one day consider canceling the next. It's crazy the emotions that come with surgery to alter our appearance. Just know you're not the only one feeling this way. I also have tried on sports bras, bralettes and bigger bras than what I think I currently am, I know I'm only a B or small C but a D sports bra isn't sagging off me so I'm thinking that it will be fine. I know I'm hoping to go up a cup size at least if not 2 but I'm just not going to focus on the bra aspect. I ordered them online from walmart.com, zip up fronts even for ease of use, for super cheap and they were here in 3 days. If they don't fit I'll order different, so it's not like they're hard to get, don't let that one stress you out. You will do great and you deserve this! Good luck Thursday and I hope you have a speedy recovery! Best wishes.

Oh and I ordered arnica for after I'm not supposed to even take my vitamins really before. I saw another post that said pineapple and pineapple juice will help keep from bruising. I'm going to research it a little, I love pineapple so that would be enjoyable. Also almost every BA story mentions the constipation after, so make sure you're prepared for that, that's a lot of added pain if it gets too bad. Again good luck.
November 3, 2014
Good luck to you as well. We will be fine and love our results
November 3, 2014
Yes my doctor prescribed arnica and other herbal for bruising. He also prescribed three things for constipation. Thanks
