“6/9 - Colorado Springs, CO”
Spent: $10,950 in Colorado Springs, CO
I am a 49 year old mother of 3. I gained 50 pounds with each pregnancy and my stomach was ruined!
I have wanted this for over 20 years and am anxious, nervous, excited and thrilled. My pre-op is this morning so I have my list of questions.
This site has helped me more than anything else I've seen! Reading all your stories has given me hope for my results and the knowledge of what to expect as far as recovery goes.
I am having a tummy tuck, muscle repair and a breast augmentation. I will post before and after photos. All of yours have helped me more than you will ever know. I am having some guilt about spending this much money on myself but I also know that getting this fat around my waist gone will not only look better but will be healthier for me. Thanks to all who have posted.

I forgot to mention I am also having some lip of the flanks. The closer it gets, the more nervous I am. I spend more time out on this site than anywhere else. It really helps to see the before and afters to see why I am doing this. Still having thoughts of not waking up but I know intellectually that it is extremely rare. Just have to keep the end results in mind. I have fibromyalgia and hope getting this extra tire off will help that as well. I work out 3 days a week with both weights and cardio but still have that belly. I am very excited for this to be over. I am staying overnight my PS says because of the extended TT. He wants me up and around as much as possible. He does not put a binder on right away. He said it won't be until at least my post-op appointment. Well here are my before pictures. I'll keep everyone updated.

I forgot to say that I am doing 400 cc's on the right breast and 425 cc's on the left due to the asymetry.

Day 2 Post Op. I am doing very well after surgery. First night was rough and glad I spent the night at the surgery center. My PS wanted me up and walking asap and I definitely feel the difference when I don't. Everything just tightens up when I sit for too long. Getting up from the recliner is the hardest part, except for the coughing! Can you say OMG! My anticipation of how bad this was going to be was definitely much worse than it was. From what I can see so far, my PS got most of my stretch marks too. I am so happy I did this and didn't chicken out! Will post after pics soon.

Day 4 Post op: Just had my first post-op appointment. I've been feely really well with lots of soreness but not unbearable pain. Well PS says everything looking good. I have to start wearing the binder 24 hours a day. One of the best pieces of advice I got from this site is to get a travel pillow. It's the kind that goes around your neck. I don't think I would have slept well without it. I'm still sleeping on the recliner, mainly so I don't keep my hubby up all night. I'm so pleased so far and so glad I did it.

Well today is Day 9 post of. I must say that I am finally starting to feel more like myself. Yesterday was a bad day. Very sad, very lethargic. I did get one drain out and have my next appointment Monday and hope the other one will come out then. Boy what a difference that makes! Still swollen but happy with results so far.

Well here is Day 16 Post Op update. Both drains are out! Boy did that feel good to get that last one done. Incisions still not completed healed but coming along. My PS is having me wear binder for 4 weeks which is a bit uncomfortable but supposed to help swelling. Energy is much better but still need to rest more than my usual. Still swollen but I am so happy with the results so far, I'll try to be patient. PS says it just takes time. Here are my most recent photos.

Hard to believe it's already day 46. I was released at 6 weeks to go back to full cardio but only upper body on weights. Still have a couple of incisions that are healing but as soon as those close up, I can get in the pool. I feel great and love, love, love my new body. Still have some swelling but thrilled with the outcome. Posting new pictures.
