feeling good today

Had some stitches removed yesterday. Except for two long ones that run from middle of incision all way to d side . anybody know what's up with that? Do does fall off on there own? Remember I had tt mx so went to a dr here tx she spoke to ps she said that what he said to leave those alone

Glad to hear that you're doing better. It's been five days and I'm still sore and it's really sore where my drain is at. That thing gets on my nerve I didn't go out today it's suppose to rain here in Ga. So it's all gloomy here managed to bathe and that helps out a lot. I'm gonna take it easy and rest. You get some too and don't over do it.
I know .Good news once tht drain out big relief ..After I had mine out it was relief still had other discomforts but a least not from drain. Patience is all I can say.hope u feel bettee soon.
I dont know about the stitches. Let us know what the ps says about them! You look great! Happy healing.
Just spoke to ps he said yes does sutures stay until body eventually eliminates on its own.relief ladies I feel still swollem but ive notice a little more activeakes me feel better.

I guess part of recovery

Feeling very bloated. Swollen. Left side where drain was constantly burn . Uggghh

It gets better quickly! Hop on here and chat with others who are in the same stage of recovery. It will keep your mind busy and you'll know your not alone. You can find others that have had the same procedure about the same date by looking at the surgery calendar. Happy healing!
I'm one week post op. I made a trip to the grocery store bc I just wanted to get out. I was miserable afterward. Unbelievably swollen. I swear it has taken 2 days for the swelling to return to normal, well the new normal. I look forward to following your recovery
I know the feeling I was up and walking around after third day. Keep a straight posture it will feel real tight but it will help with skin recovery an pain in back

Yes feeling a little better got out of house for a little.I guess fresh air makes me feel alive.so far I feel little tingling close to d incision I hope that's normal.

Hi I'm 10 days po.First few days I was feeling ok...

Hi I'm 10 days po.First few days I was feeling ok.Now at day 10 not much pain .Just gets frustrating. Need lots patience.I get up walk around get tired really fast.I live 2 story home so I'm in my room all the time, gets depressing. Once I go downstairs that means I get stuck on couch for hrs. Not very comfy. I will upload after pic later.

Well the more you walk the better. Make sure you stay bent over so you dt mess up up your results

My doctor told me not to stay bent over to stay with a good posture si my skin an muscles will hear good I'm almosr 8 weeks post op and feeling good just burning at drainage site
Well I differ with this because a good posture helps with pain an skin also muscle are sewed togther very tight I will ask your dr. About be bent over reply okay I'm almost eight weeks post op helps with pain in arch of back

The beginning sucks it does get better
Thank u ladies today was very exhausted day for me .just sitting here trying to relax sand maybe get some sleep.tears just start to come out I guess out of frustration.
Its an emotional journey. You have to submit to not being able to do anything and your not productive. And I think some of the meds can make a person emotional. In one more short week you'll be doing much better! I bet you have lovely results!
Your not alone I think its kinda normal I get the same way some times its good to let it out but try not to raise ur heart rate ok. Smile ur gonna be sexy
