radio frequency has damaged my face - fat loss is the worse side effect with rf

I completly understand I had 2 rf treatments on my buttocks hips and thighs and lost all the fat I had. So much fat loss that it looks deformed. Also have dents on buttocks, uneven lumpiness and some areas cave inward due to the amount of fat lost. The worst part is that I used to have a Brazilian type buttocks, full firm and plump. Now it looks deformed. My intention was to build collagen in the skin. I made it clear to the Medspa technician that I liked the shape of my butt and hips and do not want to alter it, just improve the skin and she promised me it would not alter the shape in any way. I have so much anger towards her. I am in a deep depression, have not left my house in 3 months. It has ruined my life. It's been 7 months now since the treatment and it just seemed to be getting worse with time. I can't imagine it getting any worse I truly have no fat left. No one understands the emotional pain I am in. I have lost the will to live. I had plans to get engaged and start trying for a baby with my boyfriend. However he has not seen me since this happened cause he's been overseas and I know he will get turned off. He used to love the shape of my body and the difference is dramatic. I ended up having to cancel our plans and breaking up. I'm in so much pain so I understand what u feel. I'm unfortunately coming to terms with the idea that the fat loss is permanant. The device she used is called endymed and it is not suppose to kill fat cells but this woman turned the heat up too high and was extremely neglectful. I really don't know how much longer I can take the emotional pain it has caused me. I hope that somehow your face will heal with time. Know that you are not alone.

TriActice is not RF. I've used it since the day the unit came out in the US and have never seen 1 negative side effect. You must have mistaken the treatment for something else. Its low level laser not radio frequency.

My jawline was destroyed by infini rf.. it’s 2 years later, and I’m depressed every day. I miss being pretty. Now the top of my face.. where I didn’t have anything done looks young, but my neck and jawline ( the part I had done), look about 30 years older. Me too. I looked 10 years younger then my age. But still I of course had issues I thought would be helped by using RF treatment and well I could afford it so it did it. I have had massive amounts of fat loss and I am guessing elastin and collagen. But certainly atrophy. I too have depression as a result of what has happened. I keep waiting for a turn round but I understand that the chance of that is next to Zero. But I keep hoping. It is dramatic enough a change that many have commented on it and if I have been unwell. And anyone who wants to tell you it is not from RF is not telling the truth. You know your own body and face and have dealt with stress your whole life. A dramatic change in face shape and structure is due to something that has simply changed it dramatically. And this is RF.

I am 1yr post 8 tri polar RF I have all of the stated problems and destroyed my face I'm pursuing the lady who did the treatment for compensation and will not let it go! I've gone from not leaving the house to accepting the damage but hate looking at myself in a mirror.... We all need to stick together and push for change xx

You mention you had 4 treatments, in what time frame were your treatments and did you just recently start noticing the negative side effects?

which RF did you had ? i am going this week for scarlet RF recommended by my dermatologist for acne scars and large open pores and one depressed chicken pox scar.....so much confused and worried after reading your post ?wont that make me look worse

I have to agree. I had an endymed skin tightening on my face and endybleph around my eyes. I hate the resulsts which have made my face shape change and hollowed out my eyes. My cheeks that I loved and were my favourite feature have lost volume and are flatter. I have been very depressed since this treatment. I am also only 2 months in and am dreading the next few months as I watch my face change. I hope I am over the worst of it but I look different from even 2 weeks ago. These machines should not be on the market or at the very least customers should be warned fully of the effects and side effects they can have. I was assured by my provider I would not experience the very thing I am. I am devastated.

It's a cruel machine. I don't know how people with any conscience can use them.
