I really love them. Best thing I ever did was getting them out after 15 years. :) they are touchable and soft and not super droopy.

It's is eight days post op. they look better every day. I am very pleased with them and know they are only going to get better. The have shrunk since my first photos as the swelling goes down. They are a little misshapen but that fetes better berry day. Also the drains I had caused some dimpling that went away after removal. I'm going to continue the sports bras for a couple months but going to buy a reg bra today for certain outfits. I'm very happy.

Kristin--You look beautiful! Am hoping your fluid retention goes way down . . . It's a long journey, but this side of the surgery seems to be mosly uphill. Wishing you the very best! XOXO!
Thank you so much...I am impressed with my outcome. For me it was one of the best things I ever did.

It's post op day 5. My incision site is still sore... And my breasts do ache, but the pain is far less than the implant. I get my drains removed in 3 days. I safety pun them to my sports bra. And I mad a lanyard out of a trash bag and pin the drains on that when I shower. Lol. One of the reasons I had them removed was because since this set was put in 1.5 years ago I have had fluid retention all over my body and a redness on both arms . Since the surgery the fluid retention has gotten slightly worse. So I know my breasts are swollen due to that. I don't know if my implants caused the swelling and rash. Ill wait and see if those things go away. As for my breasts, they look decent. There is a dent in my left breast across my nipple area, I'm assuming that was the pocket. Hopefully that will go way? And the bottom half of my left breast is tender and firm, where the right side is soft. I don't have any before picture... But here is 2 day post op. to me they look big, but I think it's the swelling. Ill update Friday after my follow up.

I'm so happy for you that you're au naturel again! Thank you for sharing. Will you be posting before and after photos?
Hi. :) I do not have a before picture... This is my 2 day post op pic. As expected, I lost the fullness on top but I'm just so happy to have them out. I was a 34 b before I ever had implants in 1998, but I weighed 130. I now weigh 175.
You look great! Take it easy and happy healing!
Thank you. :)
you look fabulous! did you have the capsules removed since you had weird symptoms?
Hi. Thank you!!! No. He said they were very thin. But he did send biopsies of them to test for fungus and bacteria, along with the implant. When I had them replaced 1.5 years ago that surgeon did remove the capsules. He also biopsied and they came back negative. I have seen a rheumatologist but will see one again next month now that my implants are out. The only thing my tests have shown is a high RF. I hope that in time my symptoms go away... (Rash on arms, fluid retention/swelling all over, and fatigue) But even if it turns out my implants weren't the cause I'm so glad they are out. I love my own boobies!!! They are droopy from the side but for having them in 14 years and being 45 i think they look pretty good. and they feel soft and natural. Ill take pics on Friday after I get the drains out.
congratulations! you look amazing. I want my implants out asap....
A few doctors have also said that my capsules are very thin and they should stay in. we'll see...
CONGRATS!
unless you have silicone or are severely ill you can leave them as far as i know.
I think you're right. I have to see if I will recover after 7mos. If I don't do it now I may be stuck w implants for the rest of my life. I hate the muscle distortion and long to be flat. I loved being fit and flat. I hate the fakness of these balls. So lame on me. The are wrapped around the side of my ribcage so I know they have to either be removed or downsized.
who is the doctor that did your explant?? you look great.
His name is Thomas sitzman. Truthfully what i know is that he works for the cincinatti children's hospital and also the Veternans healthcare. ( I am a veteran) I don't know if he has a private plastic surgery practice. I am going to post a new pic tonite.
His bio:

he does not have a private practice yet. :(
thanks, I was just curious. I will be going to DR Vennemeyer. Ever heard of him????
How did you find him to do it and does he work on non-veterans?
