Day 11

Ok, sorry it's taken me so long but this is a true journey. Recovery is not easy especially if you get skin tightening. The swelling became worse. All of a sudden, my arms and back felt like I was lugging around bricks and this burning sensation beneath the skin.....it was very to hard to keep positive because everything looked larger than before I went in. Today, I talked with my PS and told him my concerns and he prescribed me a corticosteroid to help with the inflammation and I hope it gives some relief by the end of the night. Oh, for some odd reason everything tastes extremely salty so watch what you eat. I'm eating clean and my normal low-fat dressing is too salty, just apple cider vinegar and EVOO....I'm determined to get this swelling down some because it's not a good feeling when your arms stick out and won't lay down. I feel like the Goodyear blimp...lol

5 days Post-OP........yeow!!!!

When I was told that I'd be sore and swollen a little longer than usual....in my head I was thinking....soooo!!!! But OMG my PS said he removed quite a bit of fat and he did but it doesn't look pretty at all and at first I had a hard time trying to see pass what appears to be a much larger arm...lol. I hope some of the swelling goes down a week at a time so I can document progress on a weekly basis.

1 day post-op!!!!!

I'm very, very sore but overall feel ok. I keep going to the bathroom which is a good sign to help dispel this liquid. I'll attach the photos of the fat that was removed. I go tomorrow for my post-op check up and I'll keep you guys posted. So far, it's been an awesome journey. #teamMemar
