I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Iteld. My journey started back in March 2014 when I opted for a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction, due to a lump, and dcis found in my left breast. My team consisted of Dr. Maker who is chief of surgery at Illinois Masonic and Dr. Iteld who is chief of plastic surgery at the same hospital. Needless to say both of these doctors are amazing, and work side by side wonderfully. I was able to have a skin and nipple sparing mastectomy, and expanders put in at time of surgery. I had my second procedure of the swap of expanders for implants in September 2014. I'm so pleased with the skilled work of Dr. Iteld. I would highly recommend him to any family or friend. There are times where I just stand and look at myself in the mirror and just can't stop smiling. ???? I just want all of you fighters out there to know, that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and Dr. Iteld is just the right doctor to help you through this part of your journey. Also, can't forget about his staff, they are amazing especially Molly!
