I had excess skin from my two pregnancies. I lost the weight but the skin was stretched and was not "bouncing back."
I am 34 years old and have two children. The pregnancies did a number on my breasts and stomach. Dr. Sorokin did breast augmentation for me back in October and I love it. I thought about getting the tummy tuck then but was scared. I tried exercise and dieting, loss over 20 pounds and the lose skin as still there (which is what he explained would happen). So I went back and had the surgery done.
Well, I am 12 days post op and feeling pretty good...

The only issue is that apparently my skin is pretty sensitive so I have sores every where there was hospital tape. And both my belly button and the middle of my incision is still oozing. Oh and both the scar and my belly button look AWFUL!
Lastly, I appear to be larger than I was before the surgery, which seems strange to me since the doc says that my swelling is minimal. I tried a pair of shorts on that I purchased before the surgery and now they do not fit. HUH? Not sure what is up. And again, I really hate the scar and the belly button right now.
I am going back to work the day after tomorrow and we'll see how that goes.
Still cannot say if it is worth it or not yet.
Almost four weeks post-surgery. My belly button...

But my stomach is flat (even with swelling) and I went back to work in 13 days with no problems. So, we'll see...still not ready to give the thumbs up or down yet.
Well, I am 4 weeks in tomorrow. Still not ready...

Welcome to RealSelf.
I love it that you were able to get the works! Those babies do a number on our tummies which is frustrating. I am happy you were able to take care of everything and now loving your new body.
How far post op are you?
Not a problem. You may update that when you feel ready.
