I had my Tummy Tuck, Lots of Lipo and BL on June 27. My "tummy" does not seem to be any smaller than it did before surgery. Skin is tight but I have a round belly. Everyone talks about swelling being bad and that its worse in afternoon. The size of belly does not change. Same when I wake up and go to bed. I am almost 4 weeks and would like to know if anyone else had this problem. Do you think it is swelling or since it doesnt vary is it just a bad TT.

I had mine done on the same day, I still get swelling and pulling. I'm told that the nevers are waking back up, and healing. I have some people swell for 6 months.
Yes, I would say it is swelling. My swelling got better after 8 weeks. I still have swelling after 5 months but usually only late in the day.
Did you have muscle repair with your tummy tuck? I just assume it's a standard thing but maybe not. Perhaps that's the reason that the skin is tight but the shape is not what you thought. Just brainstorming.
i think its just swelling,,,,,did you aslo get muscle repair cause something if you lost weight its just extra skin gonna be taken off if your stomach muscles were still intact... send a pic to pic ps and see what he says because everybody heals differently

Ended up going by Ambulance the 5th day of not keeping anything down. BUT... Im doing great now. Will post pics later also. Just wanted to say Hi!

Thanks for sharing your journey with us! I have never heard of someone getting her skin pulled so tightly that she can't stand. I'll think you'll be fine :0). You look liked a great candidate for this and I'm so glad your family is supportive. Makes a huge difference. Who cares what the others think. Once they see your results they'll wish they'd been there for you more.

Please keep us posted! Three weeks is a long time, but it will pass and then you'll be so much happier with your body.

My MM is not until July 9th, but I've been busy making lists, so here are some things from other MM that I put on my list: digital thermometer, peroxide, neosporin, advil, 4" nonstick gauze, tape, ice bag/frozen peas/corn, icy hot, cough drops, stool softener/MOM, maxipads for lipo, extra pillows, yoga band/lanyard & safety pins for drains, Suave dry shampoo, chlorox wipes for house, personal wipes for me, v8 fusion, (low-salt)ines, jello, low sodium soups, protein shakes, greek yogurt, fruit but not blackberries:( ,lots of water, arnica & bromelain for bruising and swelling, button front loose dress for hospital, button front pjs w/loose drawstring pants, front close sports bra, granny panties, trash bag to slide in & out of car, covered plastic bucket type container (empty ice cream works) for carsickness. Some of this I'm sure you have on hand. I hope it helps!
