Ready to Feel Good in my Skin Again - Charleston, WV

Post op day 1...Im really sore...not really in pain, but def 10/10 on the soreness scale. I had my first post-op app this morning amd the dr was really happy with the results. I am too. I cant believe how good my stomach looks. I cam already see definition in my abs. I cant stand u p straight...walking like a little grandma lol...I didnt sleep good last night. Iits hard to take deep bresths woth the compression gsrmet on. Its in the washer now bc it had some drainage on it. I dont have drains amd i can shower. It hurts the worst getting in and out of bed. Imy five yesr old son was so good with me last night trying to take care of me...it was so sweet. My grandma is here with me helping with the boys amd my hubby has been amazing.so happy I did this. I really feel like this is going to change my life in so many ways.

It's 6 days before my surgery and I'm soooo excited!! I feel like this surgery is consuming my life right now...it's all that I can seem to think about. I've got everything set up at work so I can have the time off. I feel like this week has went by pretty fast-I'm sure Tuesday morning will be here before I know it...only 3 days of work left. I have to be there at 8am Tuesday morning and surgery is scheduled for 9. Overall, everyone has been really supportive. It really wouldn't matter if they weren't because this is something that I've wanted for a really long time and it is something that I am 100% doing for myself and no one else. I can't wait to look down and see a flat tummy. When I see me stomach now, instead of wanting to cry like I used to do, I feel good knowing that it's almost over and will be flat before I know it. I'm going to go get my prescriptions filled before the end of the week. Hopefully I wll be able to keep myself busy and the time before the surgery will pass by before I know it. Hey everybody! Its two weeks before my preop appointment and i can't wait! Im not nervous right now, im just so excited to get my surgery over with. I dont do a lot of heavy lifting at work, so im planning in not taking more than 3 weeks off. By reading everyone's stories, i've pretty much come to accept the fact that I'm gonna be swollen, sore, and probably not happy witg tge results at first...that's okay with me. I can't wait to not be able to pinch all that loose saggy skin on my belly! LolIt seems like its coming up so fast! I almost have everything paid for. Im just waiting, waiting, waiting!!
