Like most people here, I have wanted bigger boobs...

Like most people here, I have wanted bigger boobs since I knew that was a thing. lol! I was originally going to wait until I was done having kids, but who knows at this point whether I ever will have another... sigh, men... Ha, anyway, I consulted with two different surgeons and decided to go with the second one I met. Not only was he cheaper, he really listened to me AND told me exactly what i wanted to hear... which is, no actual lift with lollipop incision on the left boob! I swear the asymmetry is due to the difference in tissue volume (it's a huge difference to me, though both surgeons, upon visual inspection, seemed to think they were about equal...). Basically, he is going to put the implants in (I'm leaning toward 400-450cc -- want to be a D or DD ... I have a torso that can support bigger implants and am a somewhat thick skinned girl anyway) and then see how it looks.... if leftie is still all big and bad, he will do a circumareolar mastopexy/lift... so a scar around the areola but no scar going down. Whew! I really think my left boob is kinda borderline needing lift anyway, since the nipple is still technically above the fold.

Anyway I am all set for Dec 18, and it seems like sooo far away!!! I am so excited, but I haven't really done anything to prepare for it yet.

I think this website is giving me premature Boob Greed

Seriously, I already thought I was wacko in the Dr's office with the 450 cc sizers they had (they have the naturally shaped silicone ones) because I thought I'd only need 300-350... but the 450 looked so good ... and now I'm thinking I should go for 500 or so! I want to be a DD, and I already have a little breast tissue... gah idk. I go for my pre-op consult Thursday so I will talk to them about it then, I suppose. :)

Over/under????

Ok so I keep freaking out about whether to go over or under the muscle. I have a decent amount of upper breast tissue (way more than 2cm pinch rule), and I have been reading posts about some of the ladies here having weird sensations while doing certain yoga poses. I am completely addicted to Jillian Michaels' Yoga Meltdown and Yoga Inferno, both of which incorporate a TON of upper body strength training (push-ups, etc). I really don't want the implants to affect that. Also, I want a quicker and less painful recovery time lol.

My doc initially said he may end up putting mine on top anyway, just because it may help correct the asymmetry a little better. I think I'm going to ask him to go ahead and go for that. I have been researching a lot and I've found a website with a guy, Dr. David Reath from Knoxville (here's one pic: http://www.dbreath.com/photos/gallery/breast-enhancement/breast-augmentation-silicone/1250/6) who suggests doing over the muscle if you have enough breast tissue and sillicone cohesive gel implants, which is what I'll be doing. Also, I hear they drop and fluff a lot quicker.

Every day I think I've made up my damn mind and then I'll read something that changes my mind!! lol. I really do feel like I have enough tissue up top to mask a round implant without having to be under the muscle, and I really don't want to damage the muscle or stretch out the implant pocket to the down/left side over time while doing my arm exercises. I guess the only thing freaking me out about it is the fact that capsular contracture rates are possibly much higher... eek! Any ladies here with overs? I'd love to see as many before/afters as possible with over the muscle!!

Haven't had the surgery yet, will update after, but the initial consultation was very good. He took his time and answered all my questions, made me feel very comfortable. Staff was great, too!
