I read reviews and watched so many YouTube on VI...

I read reviews and watched so many YouTube on VI Peel and did it sound so amazing! First, let me tell you about my skin. It's not perfect but not bad. I occasionally breakout, like maybe a pimple or two when I'm PMSing? I'm 38 yrs. old (Asian) and never had anyone guess my age. I've always been told I looked very young. The oldest guess was 26yrs. So wanting to keep my youthful look and hoping to freshen up my skin...
Damn vanity!!! I went on to get the VI peel at a spa. My esthetician was very nice and has an amazing skin. I felt very confident she'll do a good job. She'd even reassured me my skin will look great after the peel. I went throught the same procedures like everyone else. When I was done, she took my picture. I noticed my face was a little tan and some of the imperfections surface on my skin. Ladies and Gents, don't think you can go back to work within days. No, you will need to stay inside for a week! The peelings are just awful.
After waiting with excitement for the result. Nothing! I honestly did not see a different whatsoever! I was told it will take about a month to notice, still, Nothing! I went back for a post checkup and told my esthetician how very disappointed I was. She tried to convinced me that there was a noticeable difference on my skin. She took my picture again and compared it to the first one. Really? Obviously, because when she applied the peel, the imperfections appeared on the skin and once it'd peeled off, that doesn't mean it gotten rid of them. When I wash off the peel they weren't noticeable anymore. I kid you not. I took a before picture at home on broad day light before the peel and my before pic looks better. Why? Cause after the peel, I had a little breakout around my nose. Not sure if it's from the peel or the sunscreen that came with the take home package. Maybe both. I even shown them to friends and have them guess. Most pick the before and the rest said they couldn't tell the difference. Bummer! What a waste of time and money. My esthetician said I would need 1 or 2 more for better result. No thanks! I took a week off work and felt as though my skin is in bad shape then before. My pores are larger cause I think they were sensitive for the peel and it might had inflamed them. So now my pores have more whiteheads and breakouts. Right now I'm just waiting on my skin to be normal again. Well, I think for some who has had good result it's because they might have had other peel done before. I could be wrong. Honestly, don't waste your time and money. Unless you have both, then good for you! :D
