Since I had a total hysterectomy when I was 32, I was unable to lose weight in my stomach area. I truly believe that all the surgeries that I had previously went through were the reasons for this. I chose cool sculpting because I wanted to lose the fat that I couldn't seem to lose through exercise, but without going under the knife again. The price represents two separate treatments of four on my abdomen (used with the big applicators) and a separate treatment with the smaller applicators for my inner thigh. I just had my second treatment on my abdomen and the thigh area on Feb 27, 2015. The thigh area was a breeze with some bruising. But the abdomen area was no walk in the park. The abdomen area was treated a total of 2 times. (first time on Jan 19th...30 days earlier) It took three complete weeks for the swelling to go down and the pain to fully subside. So I hadn't seen any results by the time I went in for my second treatment. The first time I thought the pain would be minimal, and didn't ask for a prescription of the Gabapentin the Dr.had suggested. That was a mistake for me!!!! Within 3 days, your nerves start to wake up and start firing off and it is painful and irritating causing you not to be able to rest at all. Ice helps but nothing else did. It took 15 days for these feeling to go away! But they do and other than a sour memory, you are back to normal. I called the Dr. and before the 2nd treatment, I started the gabapentin, since it takes 3 days for it to get in your system and start working. I am now on my 4th day counting the procedure date and my nerves have started firing up again. The gabapentin does indeed make a difference and I suggest you discuss it with your Dr. I also feel that you should really sit down with your Dr. and make sure it is the right fit. My Dr. was going to do my hips and flanks as per my request and as he measured me, he told me that I would be disappointed with the results, which I appreciated his candor. So we skipped those areas, he recommended that if I wanted them to be sculpted that this was not the best option for me and my body make up. Also all of his assisting nurses had the cool sculpting done. Which I thought it was great because they told me before I had it done that it was painful and what to expect. The pain is only temporary and really they are right, there isn't any hard down time. I could still clean my house and keep up with things. But not to sugar coat it at all, like I feel some Dr. Videos do, the healing process is not fun. I don't have pictures at this time, but as I get them I will post them. My followup is on March 26. I have a feeling that it will take me the full 3-6 months to really see the result.

I am trying to post pictures, but it won't allow Power point. Once I figure out how to upload them in an acceptable format, I will post them.

Not what I was hoping for.
Kimmers2015May 8, 2015
For the money I paid, I would have expected to see better results. If I was to do it all over again, I would have chose a different method and applied my 6,000 elsewhere. The inner thighs worked great and was virtually painless, but the stomach area was painful and wasn't worth the expense.

I am still getting a tickling itchy feeling in my inner thighs where the procedure was done and it feels like something is crawling on me...totally annoying.

Noticeable change in my thighs but not so much in my tummy
Kimmers2015May 25, 2015
I don't feel like that was a significant enough of a change to justify a 6,000 price tag. I recommend people with my body structure to go another route and use that money more effectively. The doctors were unable to "pinch" enough area to do my sides of my waist so we opted to do my inner thighs instead, which show results but I had also started a walking program that may have contributed to these results.

After my posts were brought to the attending physicians, they have offered to give me a "do over'. I have mixed emotions about this since I have already had two separate and very painful treatments that had poor results. My pants actually fit tighter now than before. (It has been Since Jan 2015 from my first procedure and I walk 5+ miles a day now, with only tone showing in my legs and buttocks.) However, I have agreed to endure it one more time. I will update everyone on my status as I go back through the process a third and final time.
Thank you for sharing your detailed experience with CoolSculpting, it's very helpful. I look forward to your photo updates.
