Because My husband is adamantly opposed to any sort of plastic surgery, I decided to try Ultherapy for my sagging neck. I'm almost 50 and come from a family of droopers and saggers-we don't wrinkle -just droop. While I would have preferred to just have a lower face lift, I found the ultherapy to definitely tighten up my jawline and under my chin. It was probably the most uncomfortable thing I have ever done without drugs. Like a shock going thru your jaw. I would suggest that you take the valium they offer if you aren't pain tolerant or jumpy. It is a long procedure to be uncomfortable. So take it. After a few zaps (so to speak) you know what to expect and it gets easier. It has been 2 years since I had the procedure and my jawline is still looking good. That said, I'm not sure I would do Ultherapy again. It's a lot of money for a short term result. Depends on the area I think.

My Ultherapy was done by Dr. Surowitz himself. I know sometimes this procedure is done by non-physicians but it made me mentally feel better know the Dr. was doing it. He is one of the most kindest physicians you will ever meet. He seems to truly care and is honest. He took a significant amount of time at my consult and gave me all sorts of options. Nor did he try to sell me on stuff I didn't need (yet). They checked in with me periodically and we did photos every so often so I could see the results. I would definitely recommend (and have) Dr. Surowitz to anyone I know.
