After reading all the reviews where people only needed tylenol, I was a little suspicious. Let's remember this is a surgery. They cut your skin and when you wake up it feels like they cut you. I felt like I had been kicked in the head by a mule. My whole face throbbed. It seemed like for ever til my neice got my scripts filled.

Ice felt great. Ice, Ice, Ice. That is my best advice.

It is healing quickly but I am not sure if I can stand the itching stitches for 2 whole weeks.

Great review?

I have pictures posted so look for them. It is
of the upper lids only. One is cut too high and
both require Levator muscle tightening to correct
significant ptosis still present. There is a
procedure for the eyelids that requires no surgery.
The results are impressive but not as significant
as surgical results. I think it was done with
radio frequency so look for that on this site. There
is a picture posted of the results. If you are bent
on surgery go only to an OCULO-plastic surgeon and
forget the regular plastic surgeon who does not
have the expertise for this.

My stitches for upper bleph were removed after 8 or 9
days. It did not itch, but it was very uncomfortable
and asked to have them removed, which they were. Then
I found out they can be taken out after 4 or 5 days.
Upper bleph was pain free for me at least. Keep it
moist.

you didnt say anything about your results.. How did the surgery come out?

I had my surgery done on August the 8th, and weeks later, I am so pleased with the results! I guess the 'no pain, no gain' rule is true. I only had stitches for a week, then a return visit to the doctor to remove them. Good luck with the itchingm just think how great you are going to look and feel!Potential clients need to find a certified, recommended doctor, plus know all the facts about after the surgery. Be well-informed!

Two weeks of stitches? I had mine removed at 5 days?
Lanae 13 Oct 2011
Had mine removed after a week. Maybe it depends on how much skin was removed?

Thanks for sharing your story, KKH. I agree with you about the "tylenol only" crowd; maybe I'm a wimp, but getting cut up like that I expect a little pain. :)

Anyway, I'm glad to hear you're healing well so far. Please keep us updated on your progress!
