WORTH IT
So got a call from my surgeon's office to let me know the grams removed: 365 grams from my left and 518 grams from my right. I guess it's no wonder I had more issues with my right side. Although all is good and wonderful now :o) I took some more pics woth some new shirts I got and without to see the progress, but having trouble uploading them so I will try later tonight or tomorrow. Just wanted to check in, the days seem to be flying by now that I am back to worlk and it feels like forever since I dropped in. So hello all :o)

My Doctor was lovely, but I feel I didn't see her as much as some others have on here, perhaps it's my own fault for not asking more questions or for more time. I just felt a few times I left my appointments thinking, I should have asked this or I don't know that...My breasts look beautiful as far as I can tell, 3 Days post-op and really thats what counts, I have barely any bruising or swelling and I can tell she took very good care of me. I am happy with my results this far :o)

I had a breast reduction on May 16th and I seem to be healing well (stitches have disolved and most scabs are gone) except that one side seems to be rebruising (is that a word?) a few inches long above the incision. Most of the bruising has been gone for almost a week. I'm going to make an appointment with the doctor but wondered if I'm worrying for nothing. Has anyone else experienced this?
Hi Hugaboo...My bruising lasting for several weeks and new bruising did appear over that time. I think some bruising took longer to show up because it came from within the breast. Let us know how your f/u appt goes. Best wishes for good recovery !

Just wanted to mention....the girls look much...

Just wanted to mention....the girls look much better in person, everytime I put a picture on here, my nipples look different sizes and so do my boobs, I think it's just from holding up the camera to take the pics....they are even and beautiful :o) Brown spots are scabs still but other than that...they are looking goooooooooood! LOL!

Less than a month out and you look amazing already, woohoo! So glad to hear that the healing continues to go well. I finally received the bra that I order, the one you told me about, and it is perfect so thanks for recommending! I do think it is helping the swelling and bruising, I'm rapidly improving I think due to the bra.

YOu look fantastic! I totally know what you mean about pics. Something about the angles of having to hold the camera totally skew them. Still, I think your pics look incredible! I can hardly see your scars at all! And you waist looks tiny!

Day #24 - After Surgery Hello All :o) Things...

Day #24 - After Surgery

Hello All :o) Things are going extremely well! Even the concerns I had over my right breast not looking the same as my left, are gone. Everything seems to be healing extremely well and I feel amazed and happy with my body every day! It's fun to buy new clothes and even contemplate buying something I would have never thought of wearing before. I officially go back to work Monday, but tomorrow I go in for some meetings and such, I am so glad to be heading back, although I've loved the time off and the extra time with my family. I am glad to be healing well and on the road to working out soon. My PS says I can start back slowly on Monday as long as I listen to my body and stop when I feel any discomfort. I am good with that :o) I just want to say thank-you to you all for all your support, what an amazing adventure....from terrified to delighted! Without all of you, I don't think I would have made it here :o)
