I am 5'4, 138 pounds and mom to 3 boys ages 4, 10 & 13. I am very active and workout at the gym 5 days a week. I have a high tolerance for pain (never need to take meds and delivered my boys naturally without medication)
I went originally to my PS to discuss my full uplift. I have always been a saggy D+ so I had a full uplift done 8 years ago. The awesome results were undermined by getting pregnant (surprise) and breastfeeding. He sold me on the tt in addition to the uplift. I figured why not although everytime i looked at my stomach I was not concerned with it as I was my very saggy breasts. I went on Monday morning only a little nervous, mostly excited. I came out of surgery at 2:45 feeling great. The blood pressure cuff caused a pinched nerve and my right arm was numb until late Monday night. That was the only irritation.
Tuesday, 1 day post-op. Was not prepared for the pain. OMG wanted to cry. Kept wondering why I did the tt. Hurts like heck. My right breast was also hurting unlike I remember from first uplift. Can't find a comfortable place. I took pain pills every 4 hours and left the catheter in. I finally found a good spot to be in but it is very hard to get in and out of. I needed my husband to put pressure on my back to slowly lift me. I am feeling rough. I was not expecting this pain. My drains are not very full. I keep emptying them every 4 hours they are between 15 and 30cc.
Wednesday, day 2 post-op. Feeling better. Figured out how to get up and down. Small sponge bath, washed face and brushed teeth. Got dressed too. Took catheter out. Progress. Pain manageable today. Had my first appt in the afternoon. PS proud of his work and his assistant said everything looked so good. They showed me pics of surgey being performed and my hernia repair. Interesting but gross. I was given a mirror to check everything out.
Excited! I have perky full breasts! My breasts are very bruised and my stomach is very tight and numb. Looks good! Made dinner. Could only rinse dishes cant bend to load. Figured out a way to get on and off toilet. Afraid thinking of a bm. Took magnesium to hopefully be of assistance.
Thursday, day 3. Tired. Pain manageable. Getting easier to get up and down. I get to shower today. Yay!

Dr. has been a PS for 30 years. He keeps up on all advanced technology and procedures. His staff is friendly and knowledgable. Answered all questions and concerns even silly sounding ones. He is conservative and his main concern is your health and well being not how many procedures can be crammed in to make more $$$.
OMG Girlie...skip the house cleaning for a while. Milk that one out as long as you possibly can. Post op day 5 you were cleaning a toilet and sink...LOL Ok you get the Wonder Woman award.
When I was post op day 5 I was just lucky to be able to get on and off the toilet by myself...never had the urge to clean it.
Thanks for the welcome! I wasn't planning on posting but I have been reading other peoples stories obsessively since I booked my appointment. I thought I could add my opinion after being so surprised by the pain the first day. I think it is like therapy too. Have a great day!

Good advice about the funny movies. Thanks for the play by play of your recovery. It will surely be of help to other ladies going through post-op healing. Hopefully since you're not draining much, you won't have to keep the drains in for too long. Fingers crossed on that one.
Please keep us updated on how you're feeling. You made it through the first three days! Hooray!
