It took a long time for me to convince my parents to get Invisalign Teen! Being only 14 years old they didnt trust me with the responsibility of keeping the trays in for at least 22 hours a day. But in the end, i got it and i've worn it for the prescribed amount everyday. it took 4 weeks after molds and X-rays to get to my doctor.
When you first put it on its a little uncomfortable, there's some pressure but it didnt hurt very much! The next day i noticed slight pain on a couple of my bottom teeth (which are very crowded)but on a scale of 1-10, it was maaybe a 2. After 2 days of the pain, it went away and i could barely feel the aligners for the next 2 weeks. Which is when i got my 7 attachments, and i have gotten used to those too!
Im almost done with my 2nd trays of 14 upper and 22 lower. and i love it! I can already see the difference! I definitely recommend it to anyone, even teenagers! feel free to ask any questions!

Is it true your teeth become loose?
Do you have overcrowded teeth? I have fangs in the top teeth and crooked bottom teeth, would invisalign be appropriate for me? Im 14 too :)
Althea97, I wanted to let you know that you can post your question about if you are a candidate for Invisalign in our Q&A section, be sure to include pictures of your teeth so the dentists can see them. You will of course need to be evaluated in person by a dentist to know for sure, but at least that can give you an idea. :)
