The photo's are not perfect as they are "selfies" and one are is raised a little to take the picture which moves the boob up just a little. The boobs look equally balanced to look at straight on :)

Janice..not Janet..OOPS :)
I made a mistake in my post and I can't seem to get back and edit :(
The second nurse's name is Janice not Janet. Can't believe I got her name wrong! She was part of the dynamic duo - Carol and Janice :) They are both so amazing and if you are a nervous person they can make you feel so at ease and relaxed. They certainly made me feel relaxed and took away any nervousness I may have had when I got in the surgery room. Dr. Perron has a 1st Class Team looking after his patients. Day 4 and still feeling great!

Hello 2Small:
First off, I love your Avatar! Made me smile & it is SO true!
Second, and more importantly: I am so glad you shared your story! Here's why: I go to Dr. P. June 27th. I am having a TT. I have heard nothing but rave reviews regarding not only Dr. P. but also his staff. Still, I am very nervous, scared, and excited all at once.
You say: "I got myself up, and drove back to Edmonton the same day." Really? Did you drive yourself? Or am I taking this too literally? Just curious if this is physically possible, because if it is you must be related to Superwoman!!!
Well, I just have to say thanks for posting. It really is settling my fears (well, a little bit anyways!) Happy healing, as everyone says here, and keep us posted on your progress. Your story is appreciated!
HI ijustcantwait :) I seriously cannot say enough good things about Dr. P and his staff - they are amazing, and take really good care of you! I didn't drive the vehicle myself back to Edmonton on Friday...I am pretty sure I was legally impaired from the general anesthetic, and they recommend that you do not operate any machinery for 24 hours, I would have been good enough to drive, but no. Actually I had to have an adult with me that the staff could confirm that I had someone to drive me home and was able to monitor me for 24 hours. I sat in the passenger seat on the way back to Edmonton and enjoyed a timmies on the drive home :) I didn't even nap...probably too excited! I have been waiting for "boobies" since I realized Barbie had them and I wasn't getting them LOL Good luck with the TT! You will be in great hands!
Hi 2Small:
Phew! Okay! Didn't think you drove after surgery. I just took your words too literally! :)
Thanks for helping to settle my nerves by reiterating the fact that Dr. P. & staff are amazing. I needed to hear that, although I know in my heart they are excellent. Thank-you for this reassurance.
Congrats on not being '2small' anymore. Now you can be: 'justright'!
Take care & will update you when that date arrives! (**gulp**)
I'm going in the fall instead, and adding other work in! Will update in the fall.
Congratulations! You're going to have some amazing before and after photos! Sounds like you're having a smooth recovery. Any tips and hints for recovery that you found extremely helpful? Thank you for sharing your story on RealSelf. I really enjoyed reading your story!
Hi BethH :) My recovery has been very smooth with the exception of a little nauseous feeling from the antibiotics that I have been taking - I have a very sensitive stomach - otherwise things have been great and first week is almost over. Since January when I decided 2013 was going to be a year for me, I started living a healthier lifestyle - more exercise, less wine, and clean eating. Also before my surgery, Nurse Lana contacted me six weeks in advance and gave me a list of things that I should and should not do prior to my surgery. Also, she informed me to stop my chest exercises but I could still do everything else. Needless to say, I completely understand now why she wanted me to lay off on the chest exercises - chest muscles were tight and I have a sexy boobie band for a couple of weeks at least to wear :). I followed her instructions, and reduced my salt intake the last couple of weeks prior to surgery, lots of water and clean eating. I didn't have much swelling from my surgery and think because my back muscles were strong, it may be helping with the recovery. My Dr and his staff really prepared me well for the surgery, expectations and the recovery. Nurse Carol has also been in contact and checked on how I was doing, and some exercises for me to do daily to help with the settling of my implants :) Also I have wanted this for so long, and went into this procedure with a very positive attitude! I guess if it was one thing I would suggest to anyone wanting a great recovery is take note of what to do before and after your surgery - listen to your Dr and his staff.
Hi
I'm wondering if you're happy w final results? Would u mind posting final results. I too am looking to go w dr perron
Thnks
Its been a little over 5 months since my Breast Augmentation on June 7, 2013, and I am very happy with everything. My boobs are mostly settled with my right boob just a little more to go, which is normal as most doctors will tell you it could be right away to 6-12 months after your surgery. I wore the "boob-band" for just about 4 weeks as I had a lot of stretching going on as my chest was so small (AA) and tight, and I went with a 492CC Moderate Profile Allergan implant. I had the option of going bigger as my measurements would have accommodate a much larger implant if that was the look I had wanted. When I meet with Dr. Perron one the biggest fears I had was that I would go too big, made myself look very top-heavy, unflattering and my new boobs would look fake. Well my boobs look natural and real. If you were not told I had a breast augmentation done, then you would never know my new girls were actually "new" :) I sometimes wonder if I should have gone up one size, but then I look at my body, and the way my new boobs look in my clothes and my body looks proportioned properly. I am extremely happy with the work Dr. Perron did. The nipple incisions have just about completely faded and unless you look for a cut/scar, you would not notice it at this point and its just been 5 months. I will upload a few pictures today that I took last night and this morning...if I can figure out the photo upload again :)

Finally got my boobies yesterday! AWESOME. Been great experience so far!
Back in February 2013 I made an appointment for a consult with Dr.Perron on the recommendation of my friend that had a breast augmentation perform by Dr. Perron within the last year. From the time I entered the Doctor's office I felt welcomed and comfortable. Staff were amazing and Lana was awesome! Lana is the nurse that anyone considering a boob job meets with before Dr. Perron's comes in the room. Lana went over all the different types of implants, incisions and actually answered the three pages of questions I had before I had a chance to answer them!
One of my concerns was that I would be pressured to go with a very large implant because of my built, 5'7.5", large boned (wide shoulders and hips), average weight 175. Workout lots and have a very "hippy" figure, wide shoulders but didn't get the boobs to make my figure an hourglass instead of a pear :) . My breast cavity measured at 15, which is very large. Told Lana and Dr Perron..'see the boobs had room but they never grew!: I didn't want to be all boobs and hips. I want to keep my body portioned and boobs big enough to have a nice set, but not too big that my waist would be hidden and all anyone would see would be hips and chest!
I wore a C36 VS Miraculous Pushup Bra, that was gaping on my but gave an illusion of boobs. Told Lana that I wanted boobs that would be just a "smidgen" larger that what this bra makes my boobs appear - a full C cup. She agreed that going much bigger would probably be too big for what I was asking. This was also confirmed when Dr. Perron came in and measured me, listened to what I was looking for and was very forthcoming with advice and recommendations that I would probably appear "fat" with too large of boobs because of my built - something that I knew but was very impressed and happy he was forthcoming with that information and honest. I booked my appointment for June 7, 2013 and the waiting began.
Went and had my surgery yesterday in Calgary - wow what an amazing experience! Like most people I did a lot of googling between February and my appointment from various blogs and wondered if I had gone big enough (I chose a moderate profile 492cc silcone cohesive gel implant). I didn't go with a high profile as my breast cavity was really wide and it was recommended to go with moderate profile, better suited to my body. I agreed. I found lots of posts talking about pain, pain killers needed and recovery after the surgery that was making me a little nervous, and a couple friends were making me doubt my implant choice as they felt I didn't go big enough - I could have actually chose any size implant as my breast cavity was large enough to accommodate the biggest implant :) I decided on a size that gave me a look to what I wanted and my lifestyle - everyone is different so be sure you know what you want when you go.
I got to office yesterday morning, meet with Carol (AMAZING NURSE), so friendly and very detailed. Went over everything with me prior to my surgery. I then meet Janet and anesthesiologist (AMAZING), everyone was AWESOME. Went in around 1pm, and was out, alert and feeling great, up and left doctor office at 3PM! The feeling of getting the boobs was described to me as when a pregnant ladies' milk comes in...well I have never had kids so didn't know. If you workout, I can compare the feeling as an amazing chest workout, a workout that included lots of tricep dips, pushups and bench presses. No pain per say, just stiff and a little sore. Well because my boobs have always been small and my workouts, my chest muscles were really tight, so my implants are currently sitting a little high and I got a "boob band", the girls are really tight. To be quite honest, I expected it and would have been more surprised if that had not happened - wasn't a lot of extra skin to work and I knew chest muscles were tight.
I got myself up, and drove back to Edmonton the same day. I wasn't sick, no nausea, right boob had a little nipple bleeding but nothing major, and got dressed, I was even able to go to bathroom by myself! LOL I know the small things you take for granted. I walked out but was just really really thirsty and kind of hungry. I think I drank 4-5 liters of water between 3PM and 11PM, and ate a yogurt with berries after, then had a sensible dinner with limited salt intake.
Just wanted to share my experience and hopefully takes away some of the nervousness for someone else! Lots of information out there, but I think it has a lot to do with attitude! I wanted this for so long, and was very positive about everything. Also because of my lifestyle I probably feel great because my muscles will hopefully heal great.

General anesthetic or conscious sedation
General anesthetic. I have been a somewhat thirsty since Friday as the breathing tube probably made my throat a bit dry but other wise feeling great. I was able to shower and wash my hair Sunday on my own :)
OMG you look fantastic! I have similar stats 5'7 about 160 and work out alot... I definitely have lots of room on my chest for boobies that never grew! I have a consult in Edmonton but after seeing your results I'm calling Dr. Perron tomorrow! What was your wait time like for booking a consult?
I had my consult in February and surgery beginning of June. An opening came up in May but it didn't work with my schedule. Since my surgery a friend also went to Dr Perron for a breast augmentation and love her new boobs! He is an amazing doctor with a fantastic staff. From the consult to the day of surgery you feel taken care of and attended to and cared for.
Thanks for getting back to me! Do you know what size, style, and profile you have? I'm tossing around the idea of tear drop implants but am concerned over the possibility of them rotating in the pocket.
I got the 492cc moderate profile implants. They didn't recommend the tear drop has there has been cases where they rotate. When I meet for my consult, Lana went over all the implant styles in detail and was amazing answering any questions I had... And I had lots of questions.
Moderate profile being the lowest profile? Or mod+ Inbetween the low and high profile?
I love the look of yours. I am having my BA done with Dr.Perron next Thursday May 28,2015.
Thanks :)
Awesome to hear. I am seeing Dr.P on monday at 730 am :)
