Happy with Result but Experience Was Not Pleasant

WORTH IT$5,950

I'm very happy with the results of the Lifestyle Lift, particularly when I look back at the "before" pictures. However, I found the experience to be very cold and impersonal. If you are expecting a warm comforting environment you will be disappointed. I was rushed through certain parts of the process and then left alone for extended periods of time with no explanation. When I asked about this, the doctor did not seem to think it was very important.

Also, although I was told there would be "discomfort", I was not prepared for the amount of pain. If I had known about the pain beforehand, I may not have had the procedure done ... so it's probably better that I did not know.

So sorry you had such a bad experience. I had my neck Lift and Eyelids surgery done May 6th and I could not be more thrilled. I'm 58 years old, but now I look 15 years younger. The staff was wonderful and my Doctor, was so personable. He treated me, as though he really and truly cared about my low self esteem and he wanted to make me feel good about myself again. He did exactly that. Yes there was discomfort, but with all the work they did, that was to be expected. My follow-up check up was a pleasant on also. My doctor sat down with me and listened to what I had to say. I couldn't believe the difference in my before and after photos. I'd do it all over again without a second thought. Sorry you had such a bad experience. Dallas, Tx has a great Doctor and staff. Too bad they aren't all like them.
Sounds like you had a great experience and result! I am the same age as you and looking for the same experience. Could you please share the name of your doctor? Thanks
how are you now, still happy with results, i am scheduled for facelift on monday with dr standefer
Although I did not feel like a number, I do agree with the "severe pain" part. Had I really been informed about what I was really in for, I may not have gone through with the procedure. I prayed to God to get me through this. It is day 3 since the procedure and although I am still very painful and swollen, I am able to move around some. I am praying that the results are worth such high price in terrible agony. I am hopeful though.
So, so happy!!! The results are amazing!!! So happy I had procedure. Look like I did when I was 38! Worth all the pain and agony! Would do it all over again if I had to!!
are your results holding up
Hi,
I'm considering some type of surgery to correct the lines aroung my lips and my turkey neck. But I don't know where to go for help. I am a 58y/o RN, but did not practice in this field and also am from a small town that doesn't have plastic surgeons. So please, if you have any advice about what I need to do to get these problems corrected, let me know. I'm within 5 hr. of Dallas and really I can go anywhere. Just need to know where.
Thanks for any help!
Pat
You must have had a competent doctor........congratulations!!!
Dear God in Heaven don't do a lifestyle lift!
anybody out there have any ADVICE FOR DRS IN DALLAS OFFICE, OR EXPERIENCE.
Well I went to the office in Dallas. Had the face lift and the eye lid lift. It was a lot more than was explained to me, but I guess I for the work, there had to be several stitches. After my bruises went away around my eyes, I was thrilled. I looked like I was in my 20's. I felt like I had gone back in time, but as time goes by, your face starts to settle and you don't don't have that college look anymore. Don't get me wrong, I'd do It all over again, because I don't have that turkey neck anymore, all though I do have sort of stretched skin under my chin. I also have really bad scare tissue behind my left ear and it's numb. Again, I think for the price it was worth if for me. I do look a lot younger, but those first few weeks/months are like a dream. I had this done, almost two years ago. So I guess I'm not much help. I'd do it again, but believe me those commericals on TV are pretty much made right after you've healed and the face is still tight. I heard I'd never have a turkey neck again, because fat never grows back, where you've had lipo suction. Just hope I don't end up looking like a bull dog..LOL
Finally, another peron from Burlington,MA but doctors name is not given. It would be very helpful if the results are good OR bad that a doctors name is given. ARE PEOPLE MADE TO SIGN A PAPER THAT A DOCTORS NAME IS NOT GIVEN??

Would really like to hear more about Burlington,MA
"happy with results but experience not pleasant" from Burlington MA. Sure there will be discomfort in this procedure, but the RESULTS are most important. Also the NAME OF THE DOCTOR is important. Just about any kind of surgery depends on the SKILLS of the doctor.
That seems to be the information (the name of the doctor) that is not supplied.
There are so many negatives out there, so it would be helpful that the doctors name is supplied for a positive result. thank you.
Very true! I found out AFTER the surgery that my doc was actually a Ears, Nose, and Throat doctor............no idea where it got his credentials to practice plastics. Shame on me.......my son is a neor-surgeon.......I should have ask.
