Double Bubble Fixed with Fat Transfer - Bulgaria

I had severe double bubble under my left breast....

I had severe double bubble under my left breast. Actually i asked a question here about whether or not it can be corrected with fat transfer, and most surgeons said no, which disheartened me, but i tried anyway, and it worked perfect. The proof that not always what a surgeon says corresponds with the truth.

You look great. I also have a slight double bubble on my right. I am probably going to do a crescent lift but I am going to ask about the fat graft.

I am happy with the graft, and now im over an year post op. it looks nothing like before

I would definitely try a fat transfer first in your case.A larger amount of fat can definitely fix a moderate double bubble like in my case. I could have gotten a lift too (with the unfortunate scars and all) but i am so happy i went for the fat transfer.

I also have slight double bubble very similar to yours. Your breast look great after the grafting. Did the doctor say the grafting is long term? I'm so scared to go in for another surgery. Do you suggest I do the fat grafting? I have been considering it for weeks now...My doctor suggested it for my left breast and then to use strattice for my right. Please help me and let me know if you think the grafting was good idea or not.

Yes i think fat grafting is definitely a good idea. I am 6 months post the fat grafting and it looks great, i think i might need another procedure in few months but it will defo be the last one and it seems the results are pretty much permanent. I thin k in my case only 10 % of the fat resabsorbed. I defo recommend it, especially if your double bubble is not TOO severe. Mine was actually pretty bad and after the grafting my breast looks much better even after such long time. Good luck

Monique is really lucky thou. I think that around 70% of my fat reabsorbed sadly. Still , my rippling was improved a bit :o) . Probably one should consider having more than one or two treatments ? C

I think it depends on how much is injected. the first time i had it done the dr injected only 15 ml and it reabsorbed in a month! there was barely any difference after the first treatment, in the end of the 1st month it looked like NOTHING was done to my breast. However the 2nd time he injected 40 ml and it worked. when i laid down durint the first 2 months there was a lump where the fat was injected, but now it still looks and feels smooth. for me fat transfer is defo the way to go unless your double bubble is not VERY severe...

And yes, usually women have two treamtments but after that the results are pretty much permanent...... with surgery you never know if it will end up worse than before, there are scars, etc etc. I just think this is definitely a better way to fix your double bubble (unless the whole shape of the breast is distorted or very assymetric)

I agree actually. I would not go under the knife again unless the situation was really really severe or very asymmetric. I just wish my doctor would have injected more (i really think he did not realize that i needed that much fat to STICK to fix it all). As you say, it will be lumpy and weird during the first weeks, but then it will absorb and then look ok. I wonder thou if my doctor would go through a second session for free (almost free, OR only) again thou! :/ C

I dunno, mine didnt' even look lumpy after the procedure. when laying down yes, you could see a lump where the fat is injected but when standing up it was perfectly smooth. i was surprised.

:))))))))))) I so need the name of your surgeon

His name is Ilyo Stoyanov but i believe most surgeons would be able to do that successfully...I really can't say he is "all that"

i'm saying this cause apparently he was the one who gave me the DB in the first place ;)

well, but at least he now fixed it ;))))

So, if i understand right , the surgeon that performed your BA was not the one that added fat?? Might i have the name and address please? I live in Switzerland so , i am not too far from Bulgaria eventually :))))))))) (even by private mail if you prefer). Thanks so much , Cri

oh, yes, same me: i had it done with the surgeon that performed my initial breast surgery. 40 ml???? how weird , i think mine used 30 but he did not centrifugated it since he explained me that the fat gets too hard and attach less if done. Well, at this point i am not sure his theory is valid . But i have been asking around and another woman had it done , she is happy with it , and her fat was not centrifugated either. I think my doctor should have probably just put some more even if the trouble was not huge. Do you have any more recent pics? C

hi there, if i understood right, fat transfer is not a very common practice in the States. I just had it done (around a month and a half ago) to correct some rippling. Sadly most of the fat has been reabsorbed. When did you have it done? Was the fat centrifugated? I would love to have more infos :O) c

It really depends how much you get injected. Mine hasn't reabsorbed...i will be 6 months post op in 2 weeks.

wow, how lucky. Do you remember if yours was centrifugated before being injected? How much did your doctor put? Did you have it done in Bulgaria?

Yes, it's done in Bulgaria... 40 ml, and yes, it was centrifugated.

I forgot to mention that i paid only $400 because those were just the hospital fees, since my first botched boob job was in the same clinic.

so obviously i cannot recommend the surgeon for anything else besides liposuction and fat transfer. I had my lips done there too (fat transfer) and i am happy.
