haven't updated my review in a long time, had my baby in July 2012 did NO damage to my MR or TT. however my scar still looked like a hack job went back to my PS he said there was nothing he could do except another TT which very much disappointed me because just shows he is money greedy and doesn't care that im not happy with my results!! so instead of spending thousands more on a 2nd TT I got my scar tattooed over and it looks great! I feel so much better more confident with myself. other than that everything has been great :)

I would recommend Dr. Andrew Giacobbe because not only is he very nice, kind and makes sure you understand everything that is going on/ going to happen during surgery before and after as well, he has excellent results! Ive seen many many before/after pics of his tummy tuck surgeries and they looked great. very pleased with how everything is going so far, his staff is wonderful as well.

Post pics of your tattoo! Im about to do the same thing!
I did post a before and after pic...its at the very end of my photos
WOW!  You look amazing!  First of all congrats on your baby!  Your tummy looks awesome after a baby - no stretch marks & your BB looks great.  That is so wonderful!  The tattoo looks very nice - what a great idea!  Another TT would be crazy, glad you were able to find a way that covered your scar & made you happy & also saved $.  Good for you!  Thanks for the update.  It is always so nice to hear from the early 2011 TT ladies.  It was such an emotional journey & we all went through the same things together.  Believe it or not, I am still healing right now 2 years later.  My dogear came back after having it removed a year ago - so a few weeks ago I had it removed again - hoping it is gone for good.  There seems to be a small lump now, but it feels hard, so I am praying that it is just dried blood that needs to heal.  I am healing a scar & bruise too. Ugh! Just can't wait to finally be done with all this!  Glad you are happy!
thank you! I feel so much more confident without that hideous scar lol you really went thru the ringer with your! I believe I have a dogear on my right side because that part of the scar sticks out. I showed it to my PS and he didn't seem to care. hope you don't have to get it fixed again
Hi your coverup on your tummy tuck scar looks wonderful. I want to cover mine up how long did you wait before being tattooed? And was it painful in that area? I had mine done 14 months ago and I want it done.
I got my TT on March 1st 2011 so I waited 2 years before I considered getting the tattoo. you want to make sure its all healed up and whatnot. It took 4 hours total, the pain wasn't unbearable, the middle part of my belly was numb so the biggest flower I didn't feel getting done so it kind of gave me a break. it did hurt badly at the very very end when we were finishing up the coloring on my right side. that side has always been sensitive, but also after 4 hours my body just couldn't take it anymore but I made it!! I feel so much better about my scar and belly now. not afraid to wear a bikini :)
Thanks Ricanmami my husbands says to wait two years for the tatt it will be 10 more months that I have to wait u dunno I can't wait to cover it scared as heck but my artist says he wants to break it down and do it in 2 sessions cause it's going to take a while I have many tatts but that area seems like it mite be very sensitive since some areas still are some spots are still numb thou.
yes it is a very sensitive area! I was going to do it in 2 sessions but I just said hey im here so lets finish it! lol we did the outline, then grey shading, then purple shading then the blue, green and pink coloring. and I only got charged $200!! Also make sure the tattoo artist is experienced with tattooing over scars
You look awesome!!!! I am also in Buffalo, NY. I had my TT on 11/6/2013

Hello everyone! I am 5 months along in my pregnancy (after my tummy tuck). for a while my tummy was completely flat, I really didnt feel pregnant lol. now all of the sudden it just popped out! I feel pretty good, no pains other than normal preggo pains. I do feel some uncomfortable stretching in my stomach muscles but def dont feel like they are going to rip apart. my belly button is starting to pop out as well and looks pretty ugly LOL. one thing that does concern me in that my OB is nervous about doing my c section (he has no experience with a pregnancy after TT) so he plans on having a PS help him with my c section! also I have not gained any weight with this pregnancy yet. I went thru a horrible month of morning sickness and lost about 10lbs and have slowly gained that back but i still remain at my pre-pregnancy weight now. I do have to eat small meals because there isnt much room in there to fit alot of food lol. as far as my scar goes, its not stretching or anything just very itchy lately. But other than that I am good great and very excited for my baby to come in the first week of July :)

Hi Rican, congrats on ur surgery and weight loss....u look great!
ricanmami, Congrats on the baby. I just had my TT 3 weeks ago, but I am curious about getting pregnant after TT. I don't want anymore kids but I am still young and well you never know, but I do have a question, did your doctor recommend a c-section because you had a TT?? I am just wondering if a person who had a TT deliver a baby naturaly??
I am so glad you posted the pictures of your "butt cheeks"!!!! I am 4 weeks post op TT with hernia repair and I have the same exact butt cheeks!!!!!! I've been so depressed about it and worried about what my tummy will look like in the end. Your pictures made me feel so much better.... Your "cheeks" don't look bad!! I feel good about the way I am hopefully going to look now! Thank you for posting these pictures. They really helped me. :)

Congrats on the news of your pregnancy! I don't know how pregnancy affects a tt. I know that doctors have answered questions in the Q & A forum about having babies after tt. That is such exciting news! So happy you shared it with us & please let us know when your baby comes!
Congrats on your pregnancy!! How exciting. Not sure how that effects tt. You said you had some loose skin so maybe sometime in the future you can get a revision?? I don't know but I am sure if you called your PS he or she could tell you...
