14 months on, pics...

I've been meaning to update this for ages but life is so busy! However I really wanted to show how I'm doing a year on. I'm still over the moon with the results. I still have and I'm sure will continue to have numbness around a 2 inch diameter from my tummy button and my upper left thigh. I think I may have some significant scar tissue around my tummy button, it feels quite hard.
I'm loving that I can wear a bikini, tight tops and dresses, I have me back again. The vertical scar is still healing slower than the rest and is the worst part of my whole scar. The sides are really starting to fade nicely, I'm hoping the rest will follow. The scar is so low that I have no issues with bikinis. I'd still like to loose some weight but it's not my priority right now.
Overall I'm so so glad I did this and still recommend anyone in the south west of the UK looking up Simon Lee, a very skilful surgeon.
Thanks for watching my journey [RS bleep]

5 and a half months PO

Hello all,
I'm doing well. Had to stop insanity workout as I injured my knee. It's better but I now need to get motivated again (I managed 3 wks and felt great for it).
I've still got quite a lot of numbness and I was hoping my scar would not look so red still, especially the small vertical bit but I'm still so very happy with it. I wore a tight fitting body con dress the other day and felt amazing!
All weight that I put on stay off my tummy and goes straight to my hips, it's odd how flat my lower abs are.
Not much else to report, hope you are all doing well and anyone reading this worrying about if its the right thing to do or not.... DO IT, don't spend any more time hiding in huge jumpers! X

4months PO

Hello all,
So 4 months PO, I feel good, still numb areas, top of left thigh and around my tummy button and I still have the upper abs extending a bit more than I'd like but I am SO happy with my results.
My scar is still very red, hoping it will start to fade soon.
I started Insanity last week! OMG, I must be insane to do it! I feeling so good for it though, exercising every day apart from one. I'm hoping I will get through the 60 days, it's was seeing a ladies results in here that got me onto it, I'm hoping for the defined abs she has!
Not much else to report. X

Wait times

In my opinion an excellent surgeon, answers all your questions, even the bizarre ones and never rushes you (this is probably why his wait times are usually long, that and his popularity). If you are looking for a surgeon in the Bristol area I would definitely recommend him. Low, neat scaring and does what he says all with a nice, friendly manner.
