Excellent experience. I was initially a little skeptical about having surgery in Thailand until it was pointed out to me that these surgeons turn men into beautiful women.

I have been able to put a pencil under my breasts since I was 14. I've always been described as the 'top heavy' girl and have lived my life in size small skirts and size large (and baggy) tops. I went on holiday to Phuket and met a woman who had a breast reduction in Phuket and said it had changed her life. I had my surgery on 26th April 2011 and it's amazing how great I look (and modest I feel)!

I used arnica beforehand and bromelain post op, I've had absolutely no bruising and very little swelling.

I spent 2 weeks recovering in a gorgeous resort on the beach but close to the hospital. The whole experience has been so much better than I would have imagined.

I am talking with the hospital about becoming an agent for them, I'd be delighted to recommend them to anyone.

6 months post-op very happy with aesthetic results. Hoping for a little more sensitivity to return. Feeling very natural and have got used to them.

I've been to Rigby and Peller in London and my new size is 32D. I'm happy with that, they are still soooo much smaller and more shapely.

Excellent care and a five star experience. The hospital has the best equipment and world reknowned doctors. These doctors make men into beautiful women, so reducing and lifting my E cup breasts was done with great expertise. My stitches look like they were sewn by a master tailor.

Hello- They did a fabulous job! I will be having a reduction in NYC-next week - can you tell me how you used the Arnica-as a topical or an oral as well as the Bromelain-oral? And in what amounts?

Thanks Much

LondonLou 15 May 2011
Thank you, I'm absolutely delighted with my results so far. I took Arnica orally for 1 week leading up to the operation and 2 weeks post op. I took 2 Arnica capsules 3 times a day. The Bromelain was also oral, which I took after I had finished my medication from the hospital (which was about 4 days post op). Bromelain can heighten the effects of some drugs so best not to take it with a combination. I'm taking 500mg 3 times a day. Very best of luck, hope it all goes very well.
vmbrot 15 May 2011
HELLO- THANK YOU FOR YOUR INFO. IF I MAY ASK- YOU ARE STILL TAKING THE BROMELAIN? IS THAT RELATED TO THE SURGERY HEALING?
LondonLou 3 Jun 2011
Hello there, sorry I missed your post. Yes I took the Bromelain for 2 weeks, 3 times a day. But I'm no medic, I just followed the instructions on the container. It is supposed to help the healing.

I'm so well now. I've gone back to the gym and am feeling quite normal, but it's taken 5 weeks.

How are you? How did your procedure go?

My Z-bra has been my best investment, just fantastic.

Your surgeon did a fantastic job! It doesn't look like you have an anchor-type scar.

I had a breast reduction and tummy tuck in Bangkok, and I'm very happy with the results. I would go back in a minute if I needed something else done.
LondonLou 3 Jun 2011
Thank you, I'm over the moon. It's 5 weeks ago and I'm feeling normal at last.

When I need my facelift (about 5 years time) I will go to Thailand, I was so impressed with the facilities and the surgeons.

Did you have your surgery performed at the big hospital in Bangkok?
Roses2000 4 Aug 2011
Hey Which surgeon did ur reduction?Am planning to go there early next year
milly04 18 Jun 2011
Hi there, I'm looking at going to Thailand at the end of the year to have a breast lift. I going to choose a board certified plastic surgeon. Would you mind telling me which hospital you went to and who performed you surgery. (yours look perfect!)
LondonLou 29 Jun 2011
Hello Milly, sorry for the late response. I went to Dr Sanguan Kunaporn at The Phuket International Aesthetic Center. He was just lovely and really so talented as a surgeon. For my recouperation I stayed at the Dewa, which was just ideal, very quiet with great food.

It was great to see your pictures b/c you have a body type similar to mine and I was concerned if I went too small I wouldn't look right but you still look curvy and fabulous! I'm taking your pictures to my consulation next week, that's the size I want, full but still ballerina-esque!
ckmia 28 Jun 2011
Sorry, question: you say you had E cups before (they look smaller than mine and I'm a DD, but if there's one thing I know it's that bra sizing is a complete mystery). What is your bra size now?
LondonLou 29 Jun 2011
Hello Mia, hope your consultation went well. I asked for and received a full C cup. I think my size looked smaller as they were quite droopy and had to be scooped up into an E and DD cup (they weren't identical twins). Very best of luck!
milly04 1 Jul 2011
thanks for that. I'm just wondering do they cater for individuals that are traveling on there own. I was also wondering if a 2 week stay will be long enough for a breast lift with implants. Anyway I guess I will have to contact the center and find out. I was quoted $17,000 to have the proceudre here in Australia. I simply cannot afford that kind of money..

Hello Milly

I went on my own and was there for 2 weeks. Just read lots of books and watched the Royal Wedding on TV. The Dewa is a beautiful resort and you have an apartment with a kitchen and a balcony. Drop Helen a line at PIAC on info@plastic-surgery-phuket.com, tell her that Louise has referred you from Singapore. I paid a whole lot less than you and the service, procedure and care were excellent. And I got to totally relax for 2 weeks!

thanks for ur sharing.did ur surgeon told that all the scars will disappeare?is there any pain now?reply
LondonLou 12 Jul 2011
Hello Anon, my surgeon said the scars will reduce, I'm sure it depends on how well you look after them. I've been using Biodermis silicone sheets and been really happy with the results so far, no keloid or raising. Just pink lines, not red.

I do get the occasional twinge of pain in my nipple area, but not every day and it's not much at all. I'm still not giving bear hugs! But very happy with the results and being patient about the scar healing, 10 weeks on.

hi,Anon,I admire your bravity, and I am so happy for you,now I think you have a perfect breast!
I am maggie living in CHINA,23 years old,I hate my big breast, really want to make it samller.
so,would you please tell me the procedure to have a surgury like you do in thailand?what shoud I do in the first step?
LondonLou 25 Jul 2011
Hello Maggie, I am very happy with my procedure and recovery, thank you. It is difficult having big breasts in Asia, as you can't get bras to fit! I talked to lots of friends before I had the procedure and took time to research extensively. Having the reduction can affect your ability to breast feed if you have babies. I don't want children so that was not a concern for me (and I'm 42 years old).

Maggie, you also have to consider the possible scarring. I've been married for a long time so my husband was not bothered, but I'm not sure if I would be happy with the scars if I was dating.

If you are totally sure you would like to go ahead with the procedure I am happy to give you further information.

I am very interested in your story! I have been to Costa Rica for Laser Surgery on my face - twice. What costs $3000 here is about $300 there. And the dental work....! Great prices. I would love to go to Thailand! And I would love to have (another) breast reduction. I had one years ago and they seem to have come back... How did you find your surgeon and the recovery place?
LondonLou 31 Jul 2011
Hello Estheticianna

My surgeon was recommended to me by a friend, I live in Singapore so Thailand is a 90 minute flight. The hospital gave recommendations of the best hotels to stay at and they have very good rates with the resorts. The prices of treatments/surgery are not quite on par with Costa Rica but it was a very positive experience.

I will be returning for dental work soon.

My sister's boobs came back too, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Very best wishes, Lou
Funmi 2 Aug 2011
I am really grateful for your story and pictures. I am a bit concerned about the returning boobs, what could possibly be the reason for the big boob return:(
LondonLou 7 Aug 2011
Hello Funmi, my sister's returning boobs were due to weight gain.

I would highly recommend Dr Sanguan Kunaporn, he did a great job for me.

Also with the post surgery scarring, I would recommend using silicone sheets over the scars from 3 weeks post-op to stop keloid scars. I'm planning on using it for 2 months.
Estheticiannna 2 Aug 2011
I just wanted to clear up one thing.... only a few laser skin procedures in Costa Rica are so comparably cheap. For the most part it's about half off US prices in CR.

Concerning big boob return: It just happens sometimes. Mine has been slow, over time. I was a 34 FF when I had the operation, I went to a 34D. It has been 9 years, and today I am 36DDD. A bit of it is weight gain, which went straight to my chest.
