Breast Lift and Reduction - Phuket, Thailand

Excellent experience. I was initially a little skeptical about having surgery in Thailand until it was pointed out to me that these surgeons turn men into beautiful women.

I have been able to put a pencil under my breasts since I was 14. I've always been described as the 'top heavy' girl and have lived my life in size small skirts and size large (and baggy) tops. I went on holiday to Phuket and met a woman who had a breast reduction in Phuket and said it had changed her life. I had my surgery on 26th April 2011 and it's amazing how great I look (and modest I feel)!

I used arnica beforehand and bromelain post op, I've had absolutely no bruising and very little swelling.

I spent 2 weeks recovering in a gorgeous resort on the beach but close to the hospital. The whole experience has been so much better than I would have imagined.

I am talking with the hospital about becoming an agent for them, I'd be delighted to recommend them to anyone.

I've been to Rigby and Peller in London and my new size is 32D. I'm happy with that, they are still soooo much smaller and more shapely.

Great review?

Excellent care and a five star experience. The hospital has the best equipment and world reknowned doctors. These doctors make men into beautiful women, so reducing and lifting my E cup breasts was done with great expertise. My stitches look like they were sewn by a master tailor.

Hi LondonLou, I have just booked for a consultation with your doc, I'm living here in Phuket, have been for the last month and kudos to you for providing such great information.
I've had 6 doctor referrals in over 10 years, and I'm finally biting the bullet at 32, however I think the only regret I'll have is not doing it sooner... I've put on a bit of weight, I want to lose it before the procedure, I'm now a 34EE/F but even at 60kg I was a 32F so they need to go.. Have my first consultation in the next two weeks, and coincidentally, I live just down the road.. thanks again for the recommendation and pics, you look amazing! Would love to go with a full C cup too : )

Hey guys, just wondering -LondonLou, what your scarring is like now? And did you go through a cosmetic tour company or book straight with the hospital? I'm looking at booking with Cosmeditour in Nov this year, reduction with implants.

Hi LondonLou... I am booked in to get a breast augmentation in June and Dr Sanguan is my overlooking surgeon. It is great to read a positive story about the man who will be changing my life! I am getting the polyurethane implants but I have to sign a consent form as they are not approved in Thailand.. which is weird. But I trust this surgeon (well I have to) and believe that he would not say yes to doing them unless he believed them to be safe.. He is going to do the subfascial using the breast fold incision... I am so excited.. Your breasts look lovely!

Very best of luck, I'm delighted with my results, Dr Sanguan is lovely. Take it nice and easy after your op.

Can I ask LondonLou, do you have all the feeling back? Thanks for all this info btw and was there any restriction as to how many cup sizes you could reduce to? I am completely freaked out at the thought of having the surgery, and the pain, did you have much post op pain? Do they provide good medication? :)

I am all healed and am absolutely delighted with the results. I've booked some Lipo for April on my abdomen, waist and hips to finish the job off.

Hello Lee, I'm not sure what that term means, it wasn't mentioned at my consultation. My nipple was moved a good 2 inches up, but I would ask the hospital. Very best of luck.

my wife will be going for breast reduction and i wld like someone to help me how im going to support her after the op

Be patient, loving and very supportive.  Make sure to get all of the instructions from the doctor on the after care plan and procedures.  Learn how to empty the drains, help change dressings,

The best thing you can do is just be there, make meals, get her the medications she needs, keep the house clean and tidy, and be very calm and supportive.  Just knowing someone is there for you is so helpful.

Hi Roses 2000
No problem. I don't return from Thailand until 25th October so hopefully will email you then :)
Dr Sanguan was the surgeon that Londonlou (see blog above) had and I liked the look of her results. The hospital has been amazing with their correspondence and I feel quite relaxed about having the surgery done.

Roses2000 11 Sep 2011
Thanx muchly!!!I've contacted the hosp,Now waiting to hear from them.Dr Sanguan has lots of good reviews!!!I wish you all the best with your surgery. Will defo want to hear from you when you get back..
LondonLou 28 Sep 2011
He is a really good and caring surgeon, I could not be happier with my results. 5 months on I've got so used to them I had to try on one of my old bras to make sure they are still small and they are! The support staff at the hospital are really good and kind too. I would recommend staying at the Dewa when you go for your surgery.

How did it go Chris? I'm doing the same thing with the same surgeon this year, I have a consultation in person in the next two weeks :)
Chrisclarke 5 Sep 2011
Thank you for sharing :) I have been in contact with the same surgeon you used Dr Sanguan and have my surgery booked fir 10th October this year. You mentioned in a comment above about a zbra! I have found a website but was curious where you got yours from. I live in new zealand and they don't seem to have front opening sports bras?!?!?!
LondonLou 28 Sep 2011
Hello Chris, I couldn't get the front opening sports bras in Singapore either, so I got them online. 5 months post op I still wear them in bed and all is going fabulously, my boobs weren't this good when I was 16! Very best of luck and if you need to know anything further drop me a line.
