My Story...rejection and Regrets - United Kingdom

UPDATED FROM Clare885

So...been nearly 6 weeks since my op and haven't...

WORTH IT
So...been nearly 6 weeks since my op and haven't noticed much change in size, which is depressing. Finding it hard to find any bras that fit too. Going to be measured next week, so fingers crossed that I will get a bra to fit. Had tried on loads on my own with no luck, which did get me down.

Healing well though and I am happy that I am more comfortable.

Just wish I had more size....but I suppose there is more to life lol

Very helpful and informative. Took a long time to get the surgery. The Advisor though was brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful!

Please don't be bummed you really do look great, perky no sagging, and you can get away without wearing a bra too!
Awww Thanks...I just hate feeling so flat. I liked having bigger boobs, just couldn't live with the complications. I just want to find a slightly padded bra that fits, so I can look a tiny bit shapely.
Hi Clare, have you checked out Handful.com? It's a great bra with inserts, and you can even double up the inserts. When my implants came out last week, I ended up as small as you. The Handful bra is great for adding shape. I bought the XS and it fits me great. Buy the one with the adjustable straps, it's the newer one. The one without adjustable straps didn't fit me right at all, and was uncomfortable. This newer one is perfect. I ordered some of the tank tops too, and should have them this week.
Thanks Rosie2. I will have a look. It would be nice to have a small bumps under clothes lol.
Clare, here is another site, they have cute and sexy bra's in AA sizes. Website is Bounce.titlenine.com. I am not supposed to wear underwire for 6 weeks, but after that I may order some of these. The Handful bra is cute, but not sexy. But it's a great transition bra because of the pad and because it is so soft with no wires. I may wear it for a bathing suit top as well.
Hi Clare, I have an update on the Handful Bra. I received one last week and it fit so great I ordered 4 more plus two tank tops. Out of that whole order, only one bra had a good fit. They all fit different, which is not a good thing! And the tanks are very big, much too big for me. If you try this bra, you may want to order just one to see how it fits you. I think they may have a problem with quality control. The product is great, but they all fit different! So now I only have two that I am keeping. But the two I am keeping fit great and look great. Just thought I would let you know before you order a drawer full like I did!
Lol....thanks. Not sure if you can get them in the UK. I did have a quick look for UK stockists, but couldn't find them. How are you healing? x
Hi Clare, I am healing fast! I haven't noticed much change since the first week, and really have not experienced any discomfort. And I am still on a "happy high" after removal!
By the way - I have wasted a lot of money this year on different sports bras - I cannot wear a bra just SO uncomfortable! But anyway - I have found the most comfortable vest top with molded soft cups which give the illusion! Of a nice shape without any ridiculous padding - its from marks&spencer £12 I think the price was. It is hollow on me as I have nothing to put in it! But it doesn't look like that under a t shirt and is so comfy I'd def recommend :) x
hi sorry to hear about your ups and downs. perhaps you'd be a good candidate for fat transfer to your breasts if you decide in the future as that seems to be a quite newly perfected alternative to breast aug. I beliAlsoeve you you a brava device that expands tissue and then they inject your own fat into your breasts u can get 1-2 cup sizes with this. I have seen some pics. Either way you have pretty shaped boobs with lovely nipples. Best wishes and I wish you all the best.:)
Thank you so much for your candid story. I wish you continued recovery. You are beautiful.

So now 4 weeks post explant! The scars are healing nicely and I am happy that I can sleep in any position lol.

Getting used to being in Tshirts all the time, as still in Sports Bras 24/7. Can't imagine that I will wear a proper bra for a few more weeks as the scars feel very sensitive to touch.

I am having that weird bubble sensation back in my right breast though.....anyone else experience this feeling???

I wonder if it is nerve damage? But it comes and goes. I did have it when I had the implants and thought it was to do with the Capsular Contraction, so a bit confused as to why I am feeling it again!!!!!

Other than that though I am healing well, but still getting used to the small breasted me..;.have also started to weigh under 9 stone, which I haven't done in years. lol

xx

You must be so pleased, you are healing and fluffing wonderfully!!!
Lol...there hasn't been much fluffing, but I am feeling better in myself, so that is a bonus. Want to be able to wear bras soon, but not looking forward to the stress of finding one that fits as my boobs are pretty tiny. Good Luck for your Surgery x
Hi Claire you look FAB!!! I must say i am a bit envious!!! --your breast look great despite having had CC too. You must be so pleased x
Hey Reed. Thank you. I hope you are feeling ok. I am feeling loads better in myself. Getting used to being so flat is tough though! Any progress for you? x
You are beautiful!
Thanks 4Vanity. I am pleased that the skin has gone back so well. My nipples do look a bit sorry for themselves when they are not erect though lol. They are recovering though and I think I should just be thankful that they are out and I haven't had complications. Hope you are ok x
You look great and don't look like you ever had implants! So fab to be natural isn't it? Really pleased for you [RS bleep]
Hey Loubedoo. I do like the fact I don't have hard cold implants in me. Still finding being so flat hard though. An A cup doesnt fit and not many places stock AA!!!! Still in the Sports Bras which make it even harder to feel sexy lol!
How is the infection doing?? Hope you are healing ok [RS bleep]
Don't worry about filling a cup because you look amazing!

On my second course of antibiotics - different ones this time so hopefully I'll be ok soon thanks Clare :) [RS bleep]

Thanks Grace. Hope you are ok? How you healing? x

So I am now 17 days post op and feel so much...

So I am now 17 days post op and feel so much better. I have a bit of muscle ache from sleeping in all sorts of weird positions, which I couldn't do with implants lol. I am pretty much back to normal apart from doing vigorous exercise...but cannot wait to get fit again. I also want to do some weights as couldn't do them before, as it made my right implant feel awful and almost like my muscle was pulling it up to my neck!!

I am feeling a lot better in myself too. I found loads of nice cheap Tshirts from H&M that look cool with a Sports bra underneath, so they will keep me going until I can wear and find a bra that fits!!! Lol

I also measured myself and found that I am actually a 34" , but will be a AAA now according to my measurements.

Still not much fluffing...but think I will have to accept that this is me.

I will post some more photos later.

x

Oh and Just read throught the rest of my review and noticed a few mistakes, but cannot change as no edit button...grrrrrr

happy for you Clare , i still haven't my t shirts yet , all bottom down shirts, you are brave . the fluffing should come later :) xox
Awww thanks Grace. I have decided that I have to get on with it and make the most of my smaller frame. I am looking forard to being able to wear a bra that will give me some shape. Sports bras are just not very helpful lol xx
loi.....i'll tell you , now , if i can take the support bra (well its really not support bra ,i double my old bres up ,no wire of course ) i don't want to even wear a bra haha....but i will :) thanks Xox
you look great Clare , we look alike :) take it easy xox
hi clare, i just read all your posts, i was interested as i too have to wear a compression bandage for ten dsys post explant. i am day five today and i really do not have any pain, just the odd twinge.I have absolutely no idea how i look as cant take bandage off, i am terrified about acceptance. i have read about your wobbles and i am sure i have them to come. i was a AA before and went to a C ,i only wanted a B cup. i know i was all implant. i am tryong to stay strong and feel positive about all the pretty bras. i have alrwady bought loads of A's, stupid i know but i wanted something pretty to look at! i am so flat like you with this bandage on and really self conscious about going out. I really dont want to be beaten by this. your posts have helped me, thankyou for that. Embrace it! slunds like you have a wonderful man now who loves you very much. I am so lucky too as i have a great husband who loves me for who i am. hugs to you, keep posting x x x
oops apologoes for the spelling, writing from a tablet which is really difficult
Hey Reed69. Hope u r doing ok??? I cannot reply on my phone now, not sure why, so had to wait to be at the computer. I haven't dared by any proper bras as don't want to be dissapointed. I can't imagine that I will have much to put in a bra lol. I am seriously thinking though that teen bras might be my only options...but at least they seem cheaper!!! I am getting used to the flatter me now. Sports bras just don't do the flat chested any favours!!! Anyway once the bandage is off you will feel better. I think we just need to embrace our smaller frames and be happy that we are comfortable and healthy. Thank goodness for our men [RS bleep]
hi clare, thanks for your reply, and yeh we are so lucky we have wonderful men to support us. cant WAIT to get this bandage off. You mentioned you cannot reply to posts on your phone.well i had the same problem with using a lenovo tablet. then i realsied o had to scroll up to the top of the website page and log on again...now i dont have problems, but it is terrible for typing words, hence all my spelling mistakes x x lol
