Hello ladies. Ive been going through everyone's tips and experiences. I must say im very excited. I cant wait to choose a surgery date as soon as my other priorities are set in place. Ive been eating healthy and walking daily in an effort to shed a few pounds.

Hi ladies I just got a quote from Dr.Salama's patient coordinator Nancy. I was quoted on a BBL & TT; I only enquired about a BBL so I guess she misinterpreted me. Hopefully she'll get back to me by tomorrow with the appropriate amendments.
He stated that I have sufficient fat deposits and he'll be able to give me a lovely shape but he wants me to go down to 180lbs. Im currently 250lbs but i carry it well, thank God for my height. Ill be uploading pics tomorrow of my current size and wish pic.
PS:any tips on loosing weight ladies? It will be greatly appreciated :-)
Im thinking of just eating grilled chicken and veggies to help me drop the pounds. But a Jamaican woman cannot live by chicken and veggies alone!! LOL OH LORD HELP MI

Hi!!! I had the same exact question, which I asked Nancy, the patient coordinator, ad Dr. Salama's office. She said that his results are permanent, and they have not had complaints of reapsorption AFTER the initial expected 30% reabsorption rate that occurs right after surgery (which is why he overfills). I also asked about the procedure they use to prepare the fat after it is harvested, like, is it cleaned and prepared or just put into the centrifuge? She said that it is indeed cleaned and processed to get all of the good fat out.
I scheduled my procedure for December with Dr. Salama! Normally I would be super wary about the reasonable price he offers compared to the others, especially since you get what you pay for and this is my body we're talking about here. But I have a really good feeling about EPS and dr. Salama. Let us know who you decide to go with!

What a great question @honeybunzharper. I also wonder what happens 1 year later. I wish those that have had surgery would come back and post. I guess maybe they are so happy they just go on with life and their new bodies.. One girl came back and posted 9 months and she looks great.
Right on. Definitely do your hw, so you make sure to be 100% certain that you are with the right doc for you! I asked them via email, but I have talked with them over the phone since then.
Yea, that's my guess... they are just like, over the excitement that comes with a new body and it becomes a part of their lives and are happy with things. I think that if people were unsatisfied we would hear a lot about it.... since it's easy to sort of forget/ignore the things you are happy with... and near impossible to forget things you are unsatisfied with. Which is why all of us pre-sx ladies are addicted to this website! lol!!

Hey BANNANA i know that he knows that, but i wanna know that he is not mostly just putting back in the bad fat. LOL I know many surgeons dont use the right technique to retrieve and purify the fat because of the sake of time. I read that u can tell if uve had a good BBL based on time. It take time to retrieve and purify the fat which is usuall 5-8 hrs.

Im thinking twice about going to my consult. Im gonna be taking the bus from N.Y. Maybe ill just save myself the money and the trip. For his price i could have 3 BBL!!!
i live 5 minutes from the doc n can't afford to go to him even with 15day stay in miami and cost of proceedure the cost is about $9000 but i love dr d work i don't understand why it cost so much in bmore
