So yesterday I got my second part done my flanks...

So yesterday I got my second part done my flanks and back.. When I got home i had never been in so much pain in my life. It was 100 times worse than my belly worse the my c-section. You just don't realize how much you use your back for things. I did not sleep much at all last night I was throwing up most of the night. It has been real bad my belly was just a breeze. Today I can't do anything but lay down and ice and that Is a horrible challenge. I just cannot wait to feel somewhat ok and be able to walk. I am not draining much at all but I drained so much in operating bed think a bunch came out than. They took 800cc or more with what was on table.. Ugh I had to vent with all this pain...

So sorry to hear this... It doesn't sound right to me that you should be in so much pain. Can't the clinic change your pain meds and help you with the vomiting too. I'd ring them asap and let them know what is going on. Hope you feel MUCH better soon. X
i know thanks, i called them and they said it was prob from the pain killers that made me sick and to make sure i have a full stomach on them not only that they gave me 20 from my last surgery (my belly) and didnt want to give me more and told me to take tylenol thank god my friend had the same one and gave me theirs to take. today i feel a little better at least i can sort of walk.. but it was very painful they told me its because my back has more bones so it will hurt more, but i was not expecting this and i can really tolerate pain thatts the funny thing. hope it gets better by the day.

Thank you. I'm ok today really sore just found out the inscions they re opened are really infected think this is why I even so sick. Picked up anti biotics. Thank god I have help bcuz I have a 2 year old I havnt even been able to care for but hubby has just let me sleep.. Hoping I get better soon. Thanks
That's not good. Did you have antibiotics anyway as a precaution?? My PS said he always prescribes them to avoid post operative infection which can be very nasty. Really hope you feel better soon. X
I had them on the first procedure and they said they would still be in my system from that but I think they should have takin precaution too.

Yea I kno it does take a lot out of you. And it's hard to get back Into routine like working out and things. Hopefully soon it will be better .

I am 4days out, Whole back done right to the neck and under the arms, full abs,inner thighs...yikes..its been a hard time but today I felt like I might make me. Actually went for a short walk to the beach at night. We are in Playa del Carmen at a hotel...its stiff and sore !!!
Wow! Good for you! You'll be sore for about 2 weeks and than start feeling back to normal.. Post pics so we can see . Are you in Mexico did you get it done there? Best of luck
Hey melisx33, upper body back and flanks really heal slowly, as well as stay numb much longer :-) Be patient, however you really really need to compress hard, get the tightest possible sports Bra to wear 24X7. That is the best thing you can do to yourself. the normal compression Bra was of very little help to me. last year I had upper and lower body vaser together, there was a noticeable difference in the time as well as degree of healing on the bra roll. the compression on the upper body is really hard but bear with it, and then that flab which did not banish with any exercise will be gone forever.
thanks so much yeah i didnt even see this coment. your right the back and flanks are still slowely healing i dont see much a diffrence. the bra roll fat some is gone but still see some. i do try to wear good bras. im thinking maybe i need a stage 2 garment bcuz i am a bit smaller now and have lost some weight with exersize .

Hello everyone. Today is day 8 I still havnt...

Hello everyone. Today is day 8 I still havnt gotten my bra roll and flanks done. Doctor was sick and had to reschedule for thursday. I have been feeling really good and no swollen up until today. I am wondering if its normal I woke up all swollen and sore and also have some numbness on my belly .. Its just so weird bcuz i have been feeling so good and have not even experienced swelling, maybe something i ate or maybe i over did myself. Should this be happening after one week??? I am drinking lots of water and i did have an alcoholic beverage today idk also have light pain in pelvic area. answers anyone???

I felt great for 5 days, then awful for the 2nd week. Better again now. I'm sure it's fine, but ring the clinic if you are concerned. I was told I could drink alcohol 2-3 days after surgery, though I didn't feel like it at all until last night - 2 weeks after. I think it is easy to underestimate how much this takes out of you. I certainly did!

Day 3- Today I woke up feeling a lot better than...

Day 3- Today I woke up feeling a lot better than yesterday. Yesterday It hurt very bad to get up from layin down or sitting. I have minimal bruising and I guess i am swollen. Hard to tell.

Just wait till u get the rest done..especially ur flanks...its gonna look amazing...i had no waist before..JUST FAT...now i have a waist...its AMAZING...keep resting and then walking around when u can....take care...Sharon :)

are you experiencing any swelling? so weird bcuz i have not had any and now today at day 8. I think i am swollen belly numb and sore. And i have not had much pain at all. so weird.
