I had my procedure done 5 days ago. I was trying to find information about the post care of the procedure and found many things that didn't apply to my needs so I wanted to let people know that the experiences and care of other people that go through this surgery is not necessary the same case in your personal experience. Many people mentioned about drinking lots of water with lemon to help the draining, I was told to keep away from citrics for a whole week, the same for lactose (milk products). It all depends on the medicine your Dr. prescribes. So my best advice is to follow only your Dr's care and diet. I also found many websites about dieting right after the procedure but in my case I was told to eat 7 medium meals a day for a whole week (no diet restrictions. sugar ok, carbs ok) while your body works on producing blood because you loose a lot of fat and blood and your body needs to find the balance. My recuperation has been incredible ! and i won't deny It's a painful procedure but with a positive thinking and a good care it's been manageable, the pain and getting used to the tight wrap around your tummy. I can see results already and this gives you strength to continue getting better and forget a little about being uncomfortable.
Today 5 days later after the surgery I'm getting a foam and table after my draining massage. The draining massages started the day after the surgery. The table is key on getting the skin more attached to your muscle so as ugly and uncomfortable it is, I'm looking forward to it.

Got the foam and a small stick today under the compression garment

Today is my 6 day after the liposculpture. I got my draining massage and a foam that goes under the compression garment, so it was really tight but about and hour after placing it, I started getting used to it again. The massage lady also put a soft foam stick between my beast going down my belly bottom. These 2 new items are just to be kept for a week (Thank God!) I feel so wrapped up, I think I look like a Teletubby!
I was prescribed 10 pains killers on day 1 that also help with the swelling but I really don't fell pain so I been taking just one a day.
Tomorrow I'll start the massage with ultrasound. No idea what that means but I'll find out and post about it.

Almost two weeks after my Lipo and feeling AWESOME!

Well, It's worth it!
The 10 ultrasound and massage therapy are over but I still have to use the foam for 3 more weeks and then leave the garment for an extra month. The ultrasound helps with the bruises and also to reattached the loose skin to the muscle. I barely have any bruises now however, my skin feels sensitive if I don't wear the foam or something in between the garment. It's a very mild discomfort considering it's been not even 2 weeks. The arnica cream helped and good food and plenty of liquids. I'll try to post some pictures soon as I have to edit my face and private parts… I looks fabulous and I'm very happy with the results so far.
