Revision Rhinoplasty: Stories

This was my third rhinoplasty believe it or not. My first and second were with the same doctor. I wasnt a disaster case with a crazy bad nose job but I was definitely not happy. I felt after going through two surgeries and all the money I spent I should love it. I told my husband about six months ago (after I thought about it for 2 years) that I am going to look into a new doctor and finally achieve what I want. I am a little neurotic so I researched everyone thoroughly and met with 3 new docs. I knew from the moment I met Dr Kotler and his staff that these are the kinds of people I would hope to work with, but only after a few meetings with him did I make the decision to go with him. I insisted on meeting with Dr Kotler three times before making the decision and each and every appt he was sweet, patient, assured me that he could achieve what i wanted and even explained to me why it looked the way it did after the first two surgeries and how he would go about it differently. I even spoke to him a fourth time before locking in a surgery date over the phone from work, just for one last reassurance. I am about 10 weeks out and I LOVE it. Day of was easy. Recovery was easy. Dr Kotler called several times to check on me, my husband was shocked with the amount of attention we got. He was always available to us and never made me feel bad about any questions, And now, aside from some predictable swelling on my tip seeing as this is my third surgery it takes a little longer to go down, I am very happy. Very few people at my work even know I had a nose job over our holiday break and the ones that do know, always say the same thing, "It is super natural, it could definitely be my original nose and the best part, I still look like myself." I had a thick tip and i was crooked even after the first two surgeries. Dr Kotler achieved what I thought was the impossible, he gave me a more feminine and delicate nose. It fits my face wonderfully. Do not go to anyone else - Dr Kotler has the experience, he has the best bed side manner and his staff is great - love them all and I love my new nose. Good Luck, HS
