For any women suffering from a deformity due to breast ex-plantation or bad implants or even cancer treatment; Dr Rogers is excellently skilled at fixing these problems. I've seen pictures of complete breast removals being repaired to an incredible real looking breast.

I had silicone implants removed by another Dr who told me I would just be "flat". 'Flat' or 'inverted stuck to the muscle wall folds that encompass an index finger in depth & length with permanent folded over pointing south nipples' are not one-in-the-same to me.(Incision under the areola caused scar tethering to the muscle wall) I was horrified by the appearance after the ex-plantation.

I am thin and had most of my body fat in my buttocks. Dr Rogers did a fat graft procedure from the buttocks to the breasts. The result isn't huge(limited in volume) but it is amazing.

I am going back for a second procedure for symmetry purposes. My buttocks had a rather large piece of skin removed at the fold below each cheek due to the volume of fat removed. The buttocks recovery wasn't easy but the result from this donor site is amazing as well. I ended up with a mini butt lift as well as new breasts. I am happy with the total overall outcome so far and look forward to the 2nd and final procedure.

I was extremely scared of this procedure due to all the online controversy, but today I am so happy I went this route instead of re-implanting new implants and I am extremely happy I went to Dr Rogers vs any other surgeon. I think I have found the plastic surgeon I will always go to if needed and definitely refer to others.

omg im so happy for you!! im looking into Dr. Rogers for fat graft to breast as well! Is 12,000 the total cost including the 2nd and final procedure? i have tubular breast, i hope he can fix this! Congrats!!!

needhelp1 - 12k covered the buttocks lift and 1st procedure. I have to pay another 7,700 for the 2nd procedure. I was told it is dependent on how many donor sites are needed. 1st procedure- fat was taken from buttocks, lower back (both sides) called the 'flanks' and sides of each upper thigh. Too much fat taken from 1 area can leave dimples; not like an orange peel. I did get 2 small dimples on R-flank but I believe this can be corrected. I haven't looked into too much because I still think its worth it & they are small. You can ask Robin in the office to show you what these dimples can look like. She has a very small almost totally unnoticeable one on her stomach. But it gives you an idea. My 2nd procedure will require probably 5-6 donor sites like upper front thigh, backs of knees and lower back calf's and who knows where else. You would be surprised how the Dr can find fat you never knew you had. And as far as tubular breasts I think he is definitely a great skilled surgeon who can help you. My daughter also has tubular breasts and she saw me & said "wow at least you have round boobs mom. They look good even if they are small." First thing I thought after the surgery before all the settling was "wow the shape is awesome" Dr Rogers really strives for a really nice shaped breast. I definitely recommend Dr Rogers to fix this and plan to take my daughter in whenever she is ready for a consult for the same thing. Plus, I'm not rich by any means and I know this is expensive. But I have had both breast augmentation procedures & will never go back to implants. I will always recommend fat graft to anybody who asks. Also, I paid for the 1st procedure with tax returns and will pay for the 2nd with financing from CareCredit/GE Money Bank. I don't have good credit but was still able to get financed by them. I did a lot of online research before settling on Dr Rogers. In the online research I found out about a Dr in FL that pioneered this procedure & does speeches on it, and a Dr in AZ that does it often and teaches the procedure. I also researched Dr Rogers credentials and they are good.(No law suites, no misconduct reports, no license suspension that I could find) I know that technique is crucial & the surgeon better be skilled at liposuction or the donor sites can get ugly. With all that in mind I chose Dr Rogers to do mine and I know he does a lot of lipo. I also want to say that the pain from fat graft in the breast is way less painful than implants and I even had ongoing intense pain after the implants were removed. (1-month between removal & fat graft) The fat has actually subsided all my pain in the chest; either that or time is on my side. I am now 3.5 months post 1st fat graft and still have quit a bit of the volume. Plus there is way less scarring than doing implants. I hope this response has not been too long winded. I like to give all the details so anybody who feels like I did before the surgery can have some ease in their distress or concerns and make a knowledgeable decision. I truly wish you the best in all of this and hope you get the fantastic results you want.

I forgot to mention something on the cost. You can have fat graft done from 1-2 donor sites under local anesthesia which will keep your cost way down. If it involves the surgical center and full anesthesia (tko) then the cost is greatly affected. Both of my procedures involve the surgical center and being completely knocked out because of the various donor sites. I don't have enough fat from stomach or 1 area to do the whole procedure. Since you haven't seen my whole figure to give you an idea, most people upon first impression think I am either younger or anorexic. Neither applies. I'm 40yrs old and scrawny, that's it. I'm not bragging here. I wish I had more curves. So without a lot of fat storage the doctor has to go to various sites to get enough fat to do anything with it. If you're slender and/or small plan on the surgery involving being totally knocked out and several donor sites.

do you have any pictures? I am going for breast implant removal without replacement and I am afraid of the after results. will consider new options to fill my breast with fat. do you still love your results?
boobies128 29 Jul 2011
also The dr in florida was it dr. mendieta and the dr. in az todd malan? there is also another dr. in co name dr. millard & broadway. I'm still freaking out and I been post op 7 months from implants the surgeon wants to wait till sept to make the final decision.
MichelleF 6 Aug 2011
boobies128-
I don't have any pictures. If you go into Dr Rogers office and ask to see my pictures I will tell them it is ok to show them to whoever asks. Remember your results after removal of the implants will not necessarily be the same as mine. I had implants for 18yrs and had a previous remove/replace 7yrs ago before this yrs removal. Time is a big factor.

thank you so much for replying and taking your time to tell ur experience MichelleF!! boobies128 i think she is referring to Dr. Khouri who is major in doing fg to breast. and the one in az is todd malan, but i also know of Dr.Edgardo Zavala who is in az as well..i have done quite some research on this procedure..has anyone heard of Dr.Zavala from ciaobellamedical spa, his pictures are absolutely amazing on his website..
Michelle, WOW 7700 for the second procedure, thats steep! you have to get lipo again? did he save any fat from the first time he lipo u? I was told from a different doc that he would just lipo me one time n save the remaining fat for the 2nd and further injections...
and i definitely know how ur daughter feels! i think shape is much more important than size...my breast are very small but its the shape that bothers me most...like boobies128 asked, do you have any before and after pictures, i would love to see! thank you so much again for responding!!

I just checked out Ciao Bella Medical website and his natural breast augmentation pictures do look amazing. I question though a few things. 1. What is BellaFill as written below each pic? The pictures appear to be more volume than I would think is possible with autologous fat transfer. 2. When were they taken. 2-weeks post op will have a better picture than 3-months post op because the fat volume has not fully subsided yet. The post op time is not identified in the pictures gallery.
MichelleF 6 Aug 2011
I don't have any pictures. I also think now that I can be identified, posting pics online may not be beneficial to current or future employment.
However, if you are gong into Dr Rogers for a consultation you may ask to see my before/after and I will give them the ok to use them. Dr Roger Khouri is the FL doctor I researched. http://www.miamibreastcenter.com/ He teaches the procedure & speaks about it at the annual convention for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. The AZ doctor I referred to is yes Dr Todd Malan in Scottsdale, AZ. http://www.makemeheal.com/directory/viewpremium.php?entry_id=187 Get your Dr's records here -> https://s1.fsmb.org/docinfo/ or home page here-> http://www.fsmb.org/m_fpdc.html. Make sure he is board certified with American Society of Plastic Surgeons here -> https://www.abplsurg.org/ModDefault.aspx?section=PubFind
Needhelp1 - yeah 2nd procedure expensive since I already spent 12K. I have to get lipo again in different areas & no he didn't save any fat from 1st procedure. I didn't know that was an option & it wasn't discussed at consultation. I will ask about that at next consult with my doctor. If wither of you send me a private email I might have before/after I can send. Thank you for reading all this and have a great day!

Hi Ladies,

So glad I found this post! I was explanted 2 weeks ago and I thought that I would be happy being the "old" flat 34AAA that I was 10 years ago, I'm distraught. I was used to seeing the volume and I loved it but the implants were giving me to much muscle pain I was a 34B with them. I wish I had done better research and gotten it done intandem with fat transfer. Michelle, can you tell us what type of lipo Dr. Rogers did on you? It seems that there are some types that should not be done in order to keep the fat cells alive. Did he use your stem cells? I was considering DR Khouri in Miami because he seems to be pioneer and "best" at it was Dr. Rogers trained by Dr. Khouri? Did you use the Brava system?

Thanks!
MichelleF 11 Aug 2011
Hi Gardeniian-
I believe he did suction assisted lipo with a small cannula. I am not sure. Yes he used stem cells. I do not know who trained Dr Rogers and no, I did not use the BRAVA system.
boobies128 11 Aug 2011
Dr. Khouri doesn't finance. How will I be able to afford to fix my breast after explant? I hope I will be okay
MichelleF 12 Aug 2011
boobies128- If your implants are the 1st set and still relatively new, chances are you will look your normal after explantation. It is usually when you have had them a long time and removed & replaced with tissue loss each time that would make you a candidate for corrective surgery. I wouldn't get too worked up you might come out of this not needing the fat grafting. I had implants for 18yrs, remove/replaced 7yrs ago and removed again this yr and had tissue loss during the various procedures. I was left with no tissue on left breast at all. I had to do the fat graft to look "normal".
Does Dr Khouri take credit cards or CareCredit? CareCredit works like a credit card. You can apply thru their website and they send you a plastic card that is revolving medical credit. I paid mine off and had the original amount of credit available to use other places and used it at my dentist office already.
boobies128 8 Sep 2011
Dr. Khouri does not take carecredit they are straight up cash.

Hi boobies I'm planning on having the fat sucked from my stomach to my breasts. Do you know if its possible to go 2 or 3 cups larger since I have a lot of fat around my stomach. Or is there a certain amount they can only inject. Oh and will 12,000 cover the whole procedure if I just want that done?

boobies128 18 Oct 2011
I am sorry I have not actually had the fat transfer done personally. I have gotten breast implants and have just recently removed them. You can look up my postings from my username. If you want to be 3 cups larger you would need implants. If you want 1-2 cups in size you will need to go back to do more than one fat transfer. I do not know how much you weigh and how tall you are as well as don't know your frame. I am a medical professional and I thought that having larger breast would make me happy but the implants where just to big for my size (personal preference). Also, I didn't want to get them smaller because I didn't want to develop or increase scar tissue if I needed to exchange them throughout the rest of my life.

If you are considering fat transfer you must look for a good surgeon. You can increase the size significantly but then you will probably need a body lift because you are removing a lot of fat at one time and the skin doesn't retract that quickly. It is better to get the fat from the belly a little at a time where you can allow the skin to retract back. I am still doing some research in regards the best way to have fat transfer done. Dr. Khouri from Miami Breast Center looks like he does a great job if you check out his website. I saw Dr. Roger's work from a posting in realself. He looks like he does a great job as well but I would like to see the results of the donor site as well. I have read that tumuscent liposuction is the proper way to harvest fat and transfer. However, I am trying to look into how vaser and body jet from two other practioners (dr. Broadway from co and Dr. Malan from az) say survival of fat transfer is still >90%. I suggest doing more research. You also need to think about did you have kids yet? because they will get bigger than what they are and as you get older you will need a lift if you get them really big and the scarring for that is not eye candy either. I also suggest talking to michellef since she has experienced the fat transfer herself with great results.

Thanks so much for this post. Very helpful, as I am slowly coming to the notion that I would like to have this procedure. Dr. Rogers sounds like a great choice. I will have to fly in from out of town, but Robin in the office said they have accommodations for that. From what I have read, saving fat is not a good idea. It seems that by using what is harvested immediately, there is a greater chance for the fat to "take" in it's new location. Needhelp1, look into this a little more before you do it. I don't it's like juvaderm, where it can be held for a later date.
needhelp1 18 Oct 2011
Oakland, i have spoken to Robin as well and I will have to fly from the east side. I have done quite some research on this and some doctors just use different methods. Some docs prefer to save fat because they say it still works and some docs dont like saving it. I think saving fat is cost less as you wouldnt need lipo again but the survival is minimal. My top choice right now is drRogers because his works is good and he is plastic surgery board certified. but to get a second graft will be costly too. Dr.Zavala in Az touch up grafts are all included and the max cost i think is $10k including stem cell. BUT he is not plastic surgery board certified, but i really dont know how important that is if he does it a lot. Also will you be using brava? I hear that acan add another 2 cup difference.
Oakland8436 18 Oct 2011
Needhelp1, sounds like you don't need help! I am not looking to do a major increase so I would just go with Dr. Rogers and not have the Brava system. I will look into the Drs you listed to see what they are about. Rogers has a video on his site, which maybe you have seen. Not for the squeamish! But informative: http://www.leifrogersmd.com/2011/07/06/uneven-breast-solution/
needhelp1 18 Oct 2011
this is actually how i found Dr.Rogers, through that video! lol! the other doctor's website that i am looking also is ciaobellamedicalspa.com
Oakland8436 19 Oct 2011
That center looks good as well. Wonder why he would not be plastic surgery board certified?
betty84 18 Oct 2011
Boobies128- thank you for responding back. So I guess I'm going to have to do some thinking- implants or fat transfer.
