WORTH IT$5,000
Its been long since i posted a review, but was hooked on following up on others reviews daily ... My tt is great but my disappointment was putting on weight after healing ... During the 2m post op i lost around 10 pounds , but after that i dont know what happend, i put them back and really got frustrated thinking that i went through all that for absolutly nothing. That is the reason that kept me from posting any pics ... But now hopefully iam on track again and lost 5pounds which boosted my confidence again.. Will work on 10 more and post my before and after pics .. Wish me luck :D

Hello ladies,
I am actually going to Lebanon in a week or so and have been wanting to this for such a long time. My husband thinks I'm great the way I am ofcoarse he would love to save the money too:) I have 3 kids like you ranasou and am 35. I'm in good shape just that belly fat doesn't want to go away. I'm 115-120lb. I do have some money saved for aside and thought I'd do something for myself plus I have family that will help. I have some doc names any suggestions? Thanks.

good luck to you , hope all goes well . and wehre in lebanon your making it ? and why have you decided to do it there ?

have you decided on the doc ? if you need any suggestions i will be happy to give you names of couple of great ps surgeons , and actually mine is one of the best and i am very happy with the results.

update us how everything goes with you .. all the luck.
Hi Ranasou! Thank you so much for posting your experience here. I too am going to lebanon for plastic surgery and find it difficult to find any doctor reviews online. My case is different from yours though, I have no kids and I am interested in having liposuction done but I have no idea who are the skilled doctors there. Please if you have any recommendations as to which doctors you think are very qualified for that, i would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you
hi chocoholic83 . my doc is an aub graduate , a very trustable and qualified doc. but you know sometimes what is good for someone doesn't work well with others, i don't want to recommend someone and later on it will turn out to be not successful… what i recommend you to do is to check for a certified, well reputed , and qualified docs in beirut and better if they are aub graduates … i will give you some names, but this does not mean i fully guarantee you having a great experience. i will give you the name of my doc plus other 2 or 3 who are very popular , check them all out and then decide for the one you are most comfortable with . please send me your email. wish you all the best and hope you will have a pleasant experience.
Hi I'm looking to travel to Beirut for a tummy tuck can u plz email me names of surgeons on rtenian@mail.com
I totally agree with you Ranasou! I know that in plastic surgery especially there is ever any guarantee...but I would love to have a few names of some surgeons that you recommend based on what you've heard as well as the name of your surgeon. I would really appreciate it especially since in lebanon, there are soo many and you never know which are more qualified. I will message you my email address. Thank you :)

Though all experiences that are posted here are from within the states , i would like to share an experience from another place , which is beirut , lebanon.

Tt was always somewhere at the back of my head , but always afraid of taking any step forward .. But when i had to do a minor operation ( thining of the uterus) and while i was talking to the doc just 2 days before the op , the question poped out about if i can do tt at the same time , he immediatly gave me the no of the doc and made me call him , he saw me the next day and he and the gynocologist agreed on the procedure .. But i had one condition and that is if it can be performed through epidural or else i told him to forget it ... He agreed and told me that this is no problem .

I was awake through the whole thing , i didnt mind it at all , i even wasnt given any sedative , i was shaking from coldness but that was it .. As in all tts , the first three days where not easy , i insisted on the fourth day to go out and have lunch somewhere , from that day on , i went out daily though walking was painful and hurted my back tremendously .. Other discomforts where just typical : tightness , tiredness , muscle spasms and ofcourse the DRAINS .. Uuugh .. Its been 4 months since my operation , and i thank god for the unplanned decision that made me do it , couldnt be more satisfied .. I forgot to mention that i am 40 with 3 kids ...

It is great to get some international feedback here, so thank you for posting. I'm glad everything went well. Amazing that you did this so spontaneously!

hi angiemcc , you don't know how helpful this site was for me , after my operation, i'd spend daily hours reading posts and adoctors advice .. realself helped me through it all .. and i wish i had written weekly posts, because after couple of months you forget most of what you went through .. and here are some i forgot to mention : on week 3 i woke up to find myself really sore and the slightest movement would give me serious pain , just like a truck had run me over .. it went on like that for 5 days and not until week 6 i felt moving is getting easier .. and suddenly, and just when i was starting to accept that i might be walking hunch back for the rest of my life , i was able to walk normally again .. also i experienced light headedness from time to time .. the nausea the first week was some how annoying ,also the numbness was really frightening the first time i felt it , i felt like my upper body is splitting away from my lower body and this is the time where i freaked out and called my doc at 2 am .. the first 10 days i was always surrounded by my family , my mom ,my sister ,and a helper .. i was entertained most of the time and this helped a lot .. also one imp thing i would like to mention is that i expected to fit back into my jeans or the ones that are tight on me right away .. ofcourse i was very wrong .. and i couldn't put on my jeans before like 2 weeks and some pants took even more time .. only on the 6th week where i started going back to my normal pants .. though when looking my tummy looked really tucked and my waist is smaller .. i don't know why is that.
thanks for replying and welcoming me to your pages .. once again i really enjoy reading every post , you were great help here ..

WOW thank you for sharing your experience.  I could not even imagine being awake for this surgery.  What was going through your head as you laid there and could hear everything going on in the OR...you are brave!

I watched the actual surgery on YouTube and was pretty fascinated but not enough to stay awake...Whoa!

Keep us up to date on how you are doing and how your healing process goes the next few months.
lol ..well though it took only 2 days between the decision and the operation .. but i was freaking out all the time, and it seemed like forever .. and till the moment i was in the operation room i was considering backing out .. but my sister wouldnt even allow me to discuss my fears lol he pushed me through it and told me you will thank me later lol.. with three kids , i always took care of my body weight, and was always thin .. but in the past 2 years i let go a bit and what added up is that i was given a treatment with the hormone progesterone which made me bloat and pack on additional 5 kg .. i stopped the treatment because it gave me other serious side effects such as heart palpitations , indigestion and so many more .. and the doctor told me that the other option if i stop the treatment is to go under the knife … and here where the idea for a tt came up . the idea of a total anistesia freaks me out .. just the idea of going to sleep and not knowing what is happening drives me crazy .. while i was in the OR i was talking all the time to the OR staff they were trying to make me feel comfortable all the time , they were great people , they held my hands , wiped my face and did all what i needed , through the procedure i felt pressure but thats it , nothing else, it was pleasant through out .. and i was very happy that i was aware of what is going on .. as i mentioned , to me the ultimate terror was if they put me to sleep .
i read your review and saw your before and after pics , your results were one of the best i saw .. congrats you look absolutely stunning .. thanks for your sweet words .

Thank you for your compliments :)

Well I still say you are a brave woman.  I probably would have freaked out if I had been awake.  My doctor would have been begging them to knock me out.   Ok I admit it; I would have been a litle bit of a drama queen if awake while under the knife.

Are you going to post your before and after pictures?
i will .. but my before photos are with my doctor, i will call him to email them for me .. them i will post them all together ..

Perfect :)
thank you so much for writing your review, i wish more people in lebanon did as i need to have a tt and breast aug and am having so much trouble reserching doctors and getting revews. thank you!!
Hello i would like to share my experience too in Lebanon recently operated by Dr Ibrahim Melki a very qualified and professionnal doctor that i recommend for all, he performed my abdomoniplasty through epidural too, he gave the choice between epidural or general, he is so qualified so that you feel so in safe and without fear , the results are fantastic and the way he proceeds is very simple and much less complicated that i immagined, i searched and visited many qualified doctors in Paris before i took decision to do it in Lebanon but no doctor let me feel the safety that Dr melki did, i was surprised of the technic he uses for such operation that is very complicated as all say! No frequent changes no gain to put and added that the result is fantastic from the first day, the scar is invisible almost after only one week after operation, simply he is a magician doctor with golden hands, if you decided to do a plastic surgery the right adress is in Lebanon Dr Ibrahim Melki
