Hi Vein,

Wow, your legs look great! Sounds like you had an easy procedure, but the bruising does look a bit painful.

Thanks so much,

hi I have spider veins on my thighs, inner thighs, inner knee & back of my legs I've had since I was 18 years now I'm 31

I have had 7 sclero's over the years and I always got 90 percent or better removal. I never bruised like you did and he used too large of a needle. I recently went to a local dermatologist and got no results! Some are just better then others and look to see before and after pics and testimonials. It usually costs 300 per treatment and it takes one or two.

Could you tell me now frequently new spider veins appeared after treatments, and if you think they did so more quickly than they would have without the sclerotherapy? I have read that vitamin K treatment lotion can in some cases make them worse. And since using it myself now for two months, the number of veins on my legs have tripled! So I am considering schler but am wary....

I wouldn't take up on the groupon offer. Unless you are really dealing with the tiniest spider veins, you really have to see a vein specialist. Spas and dermatologists usually treat every clients veins the same way with the same sclerosant regardless of what kind of mess you have going on. I had a lot of visible reticular veins and only a few spiders and any dermatologist I went to treated the spider fine but the reticulars were too big for whatever strength sclerosant they were using to close. They just kept saying it takes time and more than one session so I threw a lot of money away before figuring it out. And when I finally saw a vein specialist, it wasn't cheap, and it was messy as hell, and it took a long time for those big veins to break down. But they did.
