WORTH IT$7,200
Feeling pretty good. My love handle swelling on the right side is taking forever to go down. I still have a roll when I sit down. I'm praying that it's just swelling. Any advice on how to make my incision opening heal quicker?

A little confused , ps didn't want to restitch that part of the incision? It looks pretty big. But aside from the you look great!
He told me to pretty much leave it alone. Keep gauze or a band-aid on it. I am a little conncerned how the scar will look when it's all healed.
Looking good! Does the opening hurt? It looks kinda painful. I had a seroma, my surgeon tried to drain but very little came out. He told me to do nothing until it was gone, and I did! A week later, no rippling so hopefully you will see the back of it soon. Great results so far... take it easy.
It is a little bothersome, not really painful. How did you know you had a seroma? I have been going twice a week to have fluid drained, but the doctor hasn't mentioned anything about a seroma.
mine just rippled when it was touched, a little like a water bed, this was between my scar and my belly button. I could feel it slosh around when I walked too... I also felt a lot of pressure on my scar. Mt surgeon confirmed it when I went to see him. Perhaps it isn't a seroma? Good news that your doc is draining it.

The swelling continues to go down. I have a opening at the left end of my incision. It looks pretty yucky, but I've been ensured by one of the nurses that it's normal. I noticed in the shower last night that right above my brown tape looked like it had jello inside it. If i tapped it, the whole area would ripple. The doctor removed 50 cc's at around 11 am today, it's about 10 pm now, and I can already see the fluid accumulating again. I have a follow up on Monday. I'm sure it will be drained again. On the bright side, it was not painful having the fluid removed with a needle and syringe. For the most part, I'm feeling pretty good.

I have been having trouble sleeping, and my belly button area is really sore. Other than that everything is going good. I just want to warn you future tummy tuckers, be careful when taking the muscle relaxers! Your bladder is a muscle too. I learned that the hard way. I had to go to urgent care on Sunday and have a catheter put in because I could not pee. It's was not fun. My swelling has gone down some, but not much. I was told at my p/o visit that I have a dog ear on my right side, but not to worry, it would be fixed in six months at no cost to me if it doesn't go away on it's own.
