Brazilian Butt Lift: Stories

My oh my! Where should I begin? I can't even begin to tell you how much I felt SSOOOO uncomfortable with my backside. I have a (or rather should I say had a) small frame (after two kids that shit went right out the window) and I am VERY, VERY, VERY top heavy. 34M to be exact. And no that's no typo. M as in Mary! So you can only imagine what I look like in the rear. Anyone wants some of IHOP's flapjacks! lol. Even though I have a little something back there, my top so overshadows everything. So I decided to do something-make the bottom match the top.

Dr. Salama. Here I come! I am so stoked at this whole experience. I used to think it was all a dream. I never thought in a million years that I would do any other plastic surgery other than a breast reduction. But I'm still in my child-bearing years and I'm not quite done yet with having children so the breast reduction will have to wait.

I'm 31 yrs old 5'7" and 207 lbs. I just had a baby about a year ago so my weight definitely went way through the roof unlike my first pregnancy which I remained pretty constant at 160 lbs. All my life I've been known as the black Barbie or Dolly Parton. After Dr. Salama is done with me I will be known as Upsidedown Dolly Parton :)). It's so weird how I came to choosing Dr. Salama. I was on vacation in Fl. While there I figured I'd schedule a consultation just as something to do since I'm down here. Nothing serious since I was still in the researching phase. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would go ahead and schedule my BBL. I met with him February 15th. He was very informative, gave me realistic expectations and his staff was immaculately wonderful. I'm not made of money but i thought the price was unbelievably affordable! I'm from NY, So for a procedure like this up here I would have probably paid double and had very less than favorable results. And to me, NY is not the marketplace for a procedure like the BBL....So it was a no brainier. Also in my opinion, no other PS on RealSelf received rave reviews as much as Dr. Salama. So I want to send a huge thank you to the other girls here on RS who helped me come to this decision.

I was considering Dr. Nedra Dodds in Atlanta, Ga. I think she gives fantastic results but she was more expensive. I also loved Dr. Markman's work as well but there was no bloody way in bloody HELL I was gon' pay $20k for a BBL. Dr. Mendiata had some unfavorable reviews and Dr. Panzino doesn't inject enough for me. Dr. Salama recommended injecting anywhere between 1100-1300 cc's. My only fear is with cc's like that I don't want to look like some video vixen or stripper. No offense to anyone! I just want to look moderately filled in the back. But as Dr. Salama said because of my top this would even me out. So we'll see. Before pics soon to come!
