How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

I'll keep this short. Dr and his team are very caring. Dr Salama is easy going but very matter of fact, which is helful esp for those who are shaped like an inverted triangle with a tight butt with wish pics of KimK or Yaris (it just wont happen).

As for cc's I got a lot , but the number doesn't matter bc I had a wide butt preop so it wouldnt be the same on someone more narrow.

Recovery is hard and I handle pain well. You really need someone for at least the first 24 hours.

I am putting up a before and after profile pics.I was fat going in to this and had way more fat than he could legally take out, this was discussed and agreed to by all. That said he did a good job from what I can see so far, annd I am swollen.

Still debating about photos, although it seems like those are the only ones that get support; such as life.

Anyway, I am leaving in one day. I decided last minute to get new luggage, I didn't want to risk being told to check my bags.

I have all of the supplies that I need before I get there. After I land I will go to my preop, then go to walmart, and then check in at the condo.

I will be driving myself, the first day, because I don't want to have to wait on Larry, before I can start cleaning the condo and getting settled in.

I think that is it for know, the next time I do an update may be postop. EXCITED!

I spent the day shopping yesterday. Got all of my prescriptions for $25.00 at Walmart pharmacy (except Percocet, apparently it has to be filled in Florida) The price was over $100 because I don't have insurance, but I gave them my prescription discount card.

I was worried about finding maxi dresses in winter, but then I thought about Ross, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls that all sell cheap offseason clothes. I found three dresses, and some flip-flops. So I plan on wearing those along with a long skirt and a tank, and tights with a loose shirt. I think I should be able to rotate those the entire time I'm there, so I can pack light as far as clothing goes.

I also bought two 10 pack of chux pads, sterile gauze, bath wipes just in case I can't shower.

I will be getting gloves, and Hibiclens today, and that is all I will be taking, so I'll pack that up tonight.

When I arrive in Fort Lauderdale I plan on renting a car just for that day , to drive myself from the airport, to the pre-op appt, and to get my supplies for my stay to include:

Food (lean cuisines, sugar free fruit cups, soup, protein bars and shakes, water, Gatorade, Naked juice)
Paper towels
Toilet tissue
Plastic utensils
Body Wash
Tide Pods
Bleach
Clorox
A set of cheap sheets and pillowcases
A vinyl mattress cover
Bath mat
Febreeze

I'm still debating on posting my photos or not. Well I guess that's it for now.
