Brazilian Butt Lift: Stories

Hey Everybody,

I have been stalking these boards like crazy, and also MakeMeHeal. I have been going back and forth with myself on which DR to choose. I was suppose to get my BBL done back in Jan 2012, but I had some complications then. I was going to goto Tijuana, Mexico and get it with Dr.Pantoja. I loved his work. I got quoted $3500.00 and paid my 10% done, I even booked my ticket. But silly me I misplaced my Passport. So I got my deposit back in full. Well I started searching for a DR in the states, i prefered somewhere in FL since thats where I live. I came across tons of DR's and I was gonna choose Mendieta down in Miami. But for his prices I def pass. Then I heard of Dr.Salama, and his work is amazing. I got quoted 6799, with everything included. Nancy told me I have to stay for 9 days. I'm quite not sure I can stay for that lond. I emailed her and told her I might be able to stay for 4-5 days tops. As of right now I'm waiting for her responce. I also to look for DR around my area. But I'm just not satisfies with their work at all. So as of right now its the waiting game for me. Just waiting for the response of Nancy. But while I'm waiting, Has any vet just healed back at their house? how was that like???

so i put my 10% down today!!! :) i got my date set for 9/14/2012!! im so excited and i really cant wait for my new body!!!!! lol anywho nancy has been very helpful and always answers all my questions. i have to look for a hotel for that date.

I'm getting super anxious and the date isnt even close :( Does any ladies out there want to switch dates??? mine is 9/14/2012... anywho for some reason I lost alot of weight lately, I'm not sure why. It's probably just one of those months, and I dont have an appetite. This is a BIG No-No!!! I need to gain weight so I can get a big booty!!!! Any tips on gaining weight again??? oh btw please ignore my stomach and stretchmarks. I had a baby 4 years ago and she left my body just ewww.. lol

i really want to get this procedure done asap! but paitience is a virtue! lol... so right now im in misson "weight gain" .. its not going so well, but hopefully i will gain enough weight to get a big behind... unless any ladies want to switch dates???! *looks around* lol.. but were already in june now, so i know september will come soon... ive seen alot of these girls results and they look awesome. i wont get my information packet until next month from what nancy told me.

i really want to go sometime before aug while my daughter is away for summer vacation. please let me know if someone wants to switch dates... thanks!

after a couple of days of being inpatient and wanting to move my date eariler. i just came to realization that my date is perfect for me lol. i called the office yesterday to try to move up my date but they told me that they are completely booked. so i just have to suck it up. but in the meantime this gives me enough time to gain weight!!! woohoo!! for some reason i feel very self-concious to gain weight now cause i dont want to be fat for three months but its something that will better my results in the long run. i also read that girls with faster metabolisim absorb more then others? is that true? well let me get back to eating my life away lol ;-) i will probably post pics up a week before surgery so you can see if i gained weight and to show a better before and after results. k bye!

so i got my hotel booked today for my bbl thats going to be done on 9/14/2012. i will be staying in the hampton inn. im so excited, its all becoming so real lol (dont mind me). just wanted to share that news lol. let me get back to eating my grits, my tummy needs to get some fat lol ;-)

 

I got my date switched :) YAYYYY! after sucking it in that I will have to wait until 9/14/2012, I was able to get it switched to 8/2/12 :) :) :) *Thanks Shantese*... So now I gotta change my reservations and all that. BTW where do I goto to get the medical clearance if I dont have PCP???? and about how much is it? Thanks Ladies :)

so I was gaining weight, then me and boyfriend broke up and just lost like 5lbs :(... so I went to GNC and bought a weight gainer, hopefully it works. I did my lab work this past saturday at solantic. Hopefully I get cleared,

Good Afternoon Ladies :)

well I went to solantic on 7/7/2012 to get my bloodwork done. And let me just say that idk if the nurse didnt know what the hell she was doing but my arm bruised up like crazy. Thats the first time that has ever happen to me. I put pictures up of the bruisings. Is finally going away now. I'm waiting for Dr.Salama office to call me, to let me know if I got the medical clearance yet. They recieved the lab work this past sat, but I guess Dr.Salama has to review it. I called yesterday to see the status on that, they got my info and they said they were going to call me back, no phone call yet! So i'm getting anxious now. Oh, also I got my prescriptions filled and picked them up on monday, I didnt know that the nausea medication goes up your butthole!!!! When I was reading the instructions i was like "WTF?!?!?! Did they give me the wrong medication" lol.. I called Dr.Salama office right away to see if that was correct lol.... Unfortanatley those are the right nausea medications lol... Anywho I still havent booked my hotel yet, because I'm waiting on the medical clearance... I'm "trying" to gain all the weight I can.. Seems like its not working. I guess My overall goal is to have a great shape!!! lol :) I would be statisfy with just that.....

Got my medical clearance and hotel booked!!! good to go!!! :) woooooooo! 2 more weeks to go, Now gotta see the last min things I should bring. Also gotta go shopping for maxi dresses. Does anyone know a good store to buy those from?

Woooo I'm getting nervous, well sort of! I'm currently eating my life away (well at least trying to). I'm really a procastinator so I'm actually gonna get everything I need for surgery this week.

I'm one week away, How exciting :) So all I'm doing is trying to eat whatever I can to have a lil more fat by then :)))) *AUGUST 2ND* woohoo

SURGERY PAID OFF!!! :) Its Legit Lol.. So all I gotta do is get my happy behind there manana, pre op appt is on wednesday, then surgery thursday!!!!! :) I will update before going to surgery. I will keep you guys updated with photo as well. There is going to be three surgeries that day, its me, aug2012, and Lee_Bunzz_all_day. SEE YOU LADIES THERE :) Toodles!

Pain, pain, pain!!!! Got out of surgery and it was the worst ever. Doc said it was normal.. It took me forever to et in and out the car. It was the worst pain ever! I think it especially took me forever to get out. After two pain killers later I feel a little better though! Just laying in bed updating my profile for you ladies. I'm actually kind of scared to go use the restroom. I've been drinking Gatorade like crazy! Please make sure you have a good support system, hubby has been take great care of me. Dr.Salama is very sweet and funny. . I will def update pics ASAP.. Xoxo to you all!!!

still in alot of pain, this is tough. I met one girl who staying in the hampton inn as well. she was getting her drains out. she told me the on day 3 or 4 the pain will get better. I cant wait!!! will I upload three pics just now of before and after. the left side is an hour before surgery, and the right side is today, one day post op!

yesterday was throwing up spree for me. I didnt throw up until yesterday! and it was all day!! I'm scared to drink and eat anything. I tried to use one of those nausea sticking up the butt thingies, well that didnt work. It hurt me to put it in. Well I just took some pics now without the garment on so you can see a better shape. I will give you a better detail blog later. oh btw still no poop

I did my first bowel movement today!!! woohoo lol I know TMI. But it felt great. well today a feel a lil better. Sleeping and getting comfortable is a bummer. I think I like taking the meds just to sleep. and my sleeping schedule is all messed up. I had trouble putting the board back in yesterday, so I left it off and today put it back in. I really cant wait till I'm able to try on clothes and check myself out lol. If you ladies have any questions let me lnow. I dont know how many cc's I got, I get the drains out on wed at 1pm. Oh btw ladies, I wanted to share with you that I never had a problem with peeing with the garment on. What I did was the first day post op I lift the toilet seat up, face the toilet(like a guy does), bend a little(dont touch the toilet seat), and hold the opening of the garment open, and shoot your pee out.. Lol.. It worked for me! Never got one dropped on. Didn't feel like buying the funnel or anything.... Just sharing with you. I still pee that way now, but I don't put the toilet seat up anymore.. :)

todayy I feel a lil better :) woke up sore, pain is tolerable, no need for pain killers.....so lets get into detail now.

Day of surgery:

I was suppose to have surgery at 2:30pm, But it got pushed back until 4:30pm ;(... I got to the place at 4:15pm since the paper said to arrive 15 min early. Well I had to wait until like 5pm. I was int he waiting room with hubby and this other lady who was waiting for her daughter to finish recovering. They called me back at 5pm. They gave me the items to change into and I had to take a pregnancy test. after that they put me in a room to sit down and sign some papers for the anestieoligist (spell check) lol.... after that he put iv in and told me to wait for Dr.Salama to come in the room. I guess at this point you guys already know I'm the last surgery of the day.well dr.salama walk in the room 20 min later and we got to work. he drew on me on the areas he is going to lipo and took some pics. Me and him were joking around. I asked him if he has eaten and how was his day lol. Then it was time to goto the the surgery room. They laid me down on the bed which had a heating thing under it. it felt really nice. they put the anestetic in the IV, and it was the worst!!! it burn going in and you can feeli it go up your arm. I felt like I blew the taste out too. I was knocked out!!! when I woke up I was shaking!!!!! I was in alot of pain, I didnt want to be there at all!!! the put me in a different bed. and I was shaking like crazy, it a pain that I cant even describe. The nurses were trying to make me feel better. But I really didnt want to hear it. I just wanted the pain to go away. they put me on the wheelchair and wheeled me out to my hubby and the car. it took me like 20 min to get in the car. I was crying my eyes out! We got to the hotel, I took the meds, was very uncomfortable... an hour later I knocked out.

Company just arrived. I will update a lil later as soon as they leave...

So today I'm one week post op. I really cant wait to get my normal life back. I miss sitting down and laying on my back. My back and shoulders kills me everythime im trying to sleep and get comfortable on the bed. I really want to take a warm bath and just soak in it. but not sure whether thats a good idea. Also does anyone know what happens if you get build up fluids. does that eventually go away? or its something you have to take care of?.. I went to Dr.Salama yesterday and got my drains taken out. I had some fluid build up on my lower left side of the stomach. They drained it out for me. But I'm just scared that I'm going to0 have build up fluid in other areas. I have all these questions to ask all of you guys but I dont want to annoy yall. -_-

this has been a roller coaster for me. Not really in pain anymore. Just soreness. Sleeping is horrible, cant get comfortable, and waking up every 3 hours. bruising has gone away. My booty has shrinked alot, probably cause of the swelling. I've been doing the massages like the dr said. but for some reason my stomach is just lumpy.. =( ... my butt looks like I have dimples, and one side is bigger then the other, but it isnt super noticeable. If you ladies have any questions, message me if you like or comment. oh BTW I dont know how many cc's I got cause my paperwork left that part out, dr.salama didnt put it. Also I asked the office and they dont know either.. =( here some new pics... let me know what you ladies think..,. I know I'm forgetting to say so much stuff, but feel free to ask.. =)

Well ladies, today I looked in the mirror and saw that the scar where my front drain was at looks like as if I push it in and it stayed stuck like that. It looks really ugly and horrible. Like theres a dent in the upper in that area. I have emailed Nancy about it. I'm truly upset and sad. I look like I have a retarted. Does anyone know if it's just part of the healing process?

So nancy told me it was normal for the scar to do that =) woooo what a relief. I have question now for the verterans, I'm doing the massages as instructed, but for some reason my stomach just looks lumpy-ish and saggy. What did you ladies do for it to get flatter and skin to get tight???

Hello Ladies,

Well there is really nothing new to report. My butt is soft and jiggles everytime I walk. Let me say that when I dod a little booty pop in the bathroom mirror, it looks SEXY lol. Also PLEASE ladies dont get use to the swollen booty because it does go down, I was super dissappointed when week 3 came around and its not as big anymore. When I take off the garment my stomach get all hard and swollen and looks a little wavy, so I keep on the garment most of the time. But overall I can say that I am happy with my results. I do wish that booty was a lil bigger, but my body now is WAAYYYYYY better then how I had it before. The three new pics I put up was from last night. Oh and I got a mesage asking if I will do round two, def not.. Healing was draining for me. More power to the girls who can do it, cause I sure cant. If you have any questions let me know ^_^

I'm really debating whether I should get a waist cincher. Does any of you lovely ladies recommend any? or what website I should look for some??? Please let me know =) THANK YOU BUNCHEZ ^_^

So I must admit I really do miss eating whatever I want just to gain weight for the surgery. I'm going to start working out so I can keep up my body. Overall I am happy with my results. I kinda wish I had a bigger booty. But I was the unlucky few that the fat absorbed. According to Amazon my new waist cincher should get here tomorrow. I purchased a aqueem for 29.21 Tax included and shipping. I went ahead and got a extra small, since thats the garment size I wear that DR.salama office gave me. I have really ugly scars from the surgery, I've been putting merderma but it doesnt look like it getting any better. =/ Also I take off the garment for a few hours, but my stomach gets all swollen and discombobulated looking lol. Trying to think of anything else I can write. I've been back to my normal activities already. I guess the only thing I'm looking formard for is my squeem, I hate the fact I cant wear tank tops and shorts with this garment. one more thing, I HOPE FLUFFING IS REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've heard about it, and really want to fluff. =)
