I was a 10/12B before surgery, now roughly 12/DD. With high profile 425cc Brazilian impants. I decided to go ahead with surgery because i have been buying push up bras amd padded bikinis since i was fifteen and decided enough was enough, i liked my boobs they did there job but i wanted alot more on top and bigger. And i got that!
I am very happy with the results so far! And wanting to share my process with other girls because i know how stressful getting BA infomation can be! Before opp i spent hours googling and resourcing but generaly ended up feeling worse off and more confused than before! Morning of opp i was insanly nervous to a point of shaking, teeth chattering and on more than one occasion looking out the window and thinking of making a run for it! All of this is normal under any surgery and just because its elective does not make it that much
easyer. But in saying that if your a little bit of a wimp like me (i am 100% not going to deny that) then the best best thing you can do to calm your nerves is TALK TO YOUR SURGEN DONT FEEL LIKE YOUR BOTHERING them thats what they are there for. In retrospect i didnt talk to mine enough and he was quite busy so i didnt push. Dont do this! Lucky for me he is a very good surgen and my boobs are great!
i am very happy i went threw with it.!
But it was a very different story about a week ago. I am 14 days post opp and very very glad that is behind me now. Some girls, (most its apparent) have very easly smooth recovery -lucky things ???? - but me not so much. Im not going to sugar coat it, it was the worst five days i think iv ever had. For some reason anaesthesia can affect people differently, apparently those of us who often get sea sick car sick or motion sickness, generaly will feel a hell of a lot worse from it then others, or so a nurse has told me. Annd for me i was one of those people and litually felt like i was on a boat for four days i could barley look at my phone for my than a minute without needing to throw up. Also all i ate for a intire week was a loaf of bread. I coyldnt stand anything eilse!
So be aware it may take you longer than you expect to recover.
As for pain i Was only given panadol where as i know some surgens give alot stronger but mine strongly recommends not to. Wish he did though because i was in a lot of pain. I had drains and i could barley move without having to carry them around in a bag this was uncomfortable and also embarrassing. The psychological effects of having a BA is something no one can prepare you for. You might be like "woo got boobs" the end, or you could feel a array of different emotions. I woke up crying one morning because i never told my parents i was getting it done, only because they didnt need the stress at the time. But i felt so guilty about that and i was very scared id made a mistake. "Like is this pain all worth it, all this trouble for what?" but this feeling past, just like the pain and discomfort did. Just remeber the dark days will pass, just focus on the excitement of your new Body!
I know now i did this for myself and only myself which is the ONLY reason you should Be doing it. as a woman i feel empowered and liberated by my choice and would do it All over again because feeling Sexy and happy in your own skin is the best feeling there is. I hope this helps anyone who is thinking of getting it done or going threw similar feelings. ?????
