HHH Soon to Be D/C and Absolutely Terrified - Austin, TX

I LOVE MY BREASTS!

I never, EVER thought I would be able to say that! It has been two months or so since my breast reduction surgery. I am so very happy I did it! I wouldn't take it back for the world. I keep getting compliments on my "weight loss" haha. People just think I lost thirty pounds. I couldn't help but laugh reading back on my entries written on good ol' percosets. Despite the pain killers given, this has been one hell of a recovery. I still wake up from pain in the incisions in the middle of the night. My scars did become keloidal, due to my milky white complexion, even still, I'd do it again. Bruising is gone and I've only a small bit of discoloration under the nipple. Sensation in my right nipple still hasn't returned, and it matters not! It just made me more grateful to have hyper-sensation in one breast! Pictures very soon! xoxox

hey, little mama!

I am loving my new little ladies! They are healing pretty fast. I was supposed to be on bed rest for two weeks but I was up and running around on day nine and I'm kind of paying for it now. I'm still in a bit of pain. Bruising has gone down tremendously! I am taking an all natural enzyme that helps with cell-healing (when taken on an empty stomach) called Protease. I am also using extremely potent vitamin e paste (it feels like glue on the skin!) mixed with some homeopathic breast oil. Since I started using those two combined my skin has completely sealed. I am so so excited! Maybe in a week or two I will be able to return to boxing and will get to find out my size!

Looking so great girl! I know you said you have been using Protease but I was wondering if you could tell me the name brand/where you bought the vitamin e paste and the homeopathic breast oil. I am having my surgery on June 17th and I'm trying to stock up on everything beforehand.
Thank you!!! The vitamin E paste is JASON brand. It is called Vitamin e extra strength 32,000 I.U Pure natural skin oil. I bought mine from Central Market. I am sure they have it at Sprouts or Whole Foods, if you have one of those around you. If not, Amazon.com has a ton of items. The Pomegranate Breast oil was kind of pricey. I initially got it before my reduction to try and kind of "bond" with my old, sagging breasts. I am happy I spent the money on it now! I bought mine from a shop here called the Herb Bar, but you could probably buy it off of the lady's web site. It is www.thegatheringforhealth.com. I'm sure you could also just mix the Vitamin E oil stuff with lavendar oil, or coconut oil for a cheaper. I just enjoy the breast oil so much! Hope that helps!
give right nipple some and she just might return. You are still very early in the healing stage. My left is still numb but a little sensation now after 6 weeks.
Doorknockers, that's good to hear. I'm not as worried about it as I was before. My nipple still reacts to touch and hot/cold, but I can't feel it. I think either way I'll be OK :)
Mine too...my PS did more work on my left one because it was the biggest . So its taking more time for it to heal .I still don't have the feeling in my left nipple that I do in my right one .Even at 7 weeks . Its a process but we will get there.
About the loss of sensation, this is very common after a BR. In most cases that I've read about it returns. When I had mine I couldn't feel the area around the vertical incision (I have an anchor scar), and although my nipples would react to cold and stimuli, I couldn't actually feel anything if I touched them. Very odd and it was slightly disturbing at the time. Most of the sensation has returned, and I am confident all will return in time (I am now 4 months post-op). Prepare to be surprised about your new size, I thought I had gone from a UK 32G to perhaps a B cup, but no, I am now a 34DD. They sure don't look like DD's to me, but the bras fit like a glove.
Hi NannyOgg! Some days they still look really big to me and other days they look like mosquito bites. Who knows what size they'll be when all of this is said and done! Did yours grow during heal time or was the B just a guess size?
The B was a guess size, and I wouldn't say they've grown. They've rounded out a bit, but all in all there's not much difference from when I came out of surgery. For many who've had the surgery the girls drop some, but for me it's not very noticeable.
