I'm excited and scared all at the same time. I've been wanting a flat stomach for a long time. And it's almost here.

Well, It's 12 days before my big day. I've surfed and surfed the internet for hours looking at videos and reading different post related to tummy tucks. I'm still very excited and somewhat scared.

Well, it's official. I went for my pre-op visit. I had my labs drawn and paid my last payment (lol). They actually moved my date back by 1 day due to the fact that he found a hernia, but I'm still on for next week. Fingers are CROSSED!

Hello, I think it is normal to feel that way. I was like that before and after but I was more excited more then anything because the TT was what I really wanted. Now afterwards I was like I should have left myself alone, but had to accept what was done was done. I am feeling great. I had a lot of muscle repair done so I experience a lot if swelling especially if I sit too long. But I am very much happy that I did it wish I would have done it sooner. Good bless good luck girl and you are going to look fabulous. I cannot wait to see your pics.

I'm "1" week post-op and I'm doing GREAT! I'm healing well and I'm almost pain free (outside of gas pain). I'm still having some difficulty walking but I know that will get better with time. I have an appointment on Tuesday to have my drains removed and at that time I'll update with pictures and a new post. Yeah....I'm so excited!
kwr423 15 May 2011
Youll feel better once your drains are out, dont be nervous, don't hurt as much u think, before u know your drains will be out. Take it easy, listen to your body and dont over do it!
Nurseypooh33 24 May 2011
You were so right! The drains came out today and I already feel better!
Nurseypooh33 23 May 2011
Well, it's been exactly 17 days and my drains are still in. I still look really great and have healed nicely. However, my drains are still pretty full at the end of the day. Dr. Gordan assured me that this is common and that they should be ready to come out in a few days. I'm so anxious to take my after pictures so that I can post them. So until then.....I guess I'll just be waiting.
Nurseypooh33 24 May 2011
Okay.....the drains were taken out today. I promise you, it feels like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. I already feel 100% better. So, tomorrow I will take my after pictures and show you guys the wonderful job Dr. Gordon did for me. Every time I look in the mirror; I still can't believe how great I look.

I'm very pleased with my results. The scars that you see are from when I had lapband surgery. These scars are not related to my tummy tuck. Dr. Gordan has been wonderful and my progress is going really well.
