Laser Lipo on Lower and Upper Abs, Pelvic Area, and Bra Roll - Atlanta, GA

The swollen-ness has gone down, but I still have sizeable lumps in my abdomen. I started going back to the gym regularly about 5 weeks ago, and I am now the point where I can do hops or impacts while exercising and its not painful.

I measured recently my waist and belly dimensions. My waist was approximately 37-38 inches prior to the lipo and measures now at 37. My lower belly measured at 40 inches prior to the lipo and measures now at 37. My upper abs measured at 37.5 inches prior, and now measure at 36 inches. It's hard to really feel the difference yet because the inches haven't changed dramatically, although losing 3 inches on the lower belly is good.

How are recovering? Any changes?
Barely. I am working out 3-5 days a week and feel that maybe that is helping me lose weight and see the difference I've been looking for. As far as pain, the lumps are getting ever so slightly smaller, and I just keep hoping and praying that they really go away!

Day 23

I am sore where the lumps are. Late last week after I was massaging the lumps, it started to actually look like it was bruising in my belly. This week it doesn't look like its bruising as badly, but it is still tender to massage. I've only lost one inch since the lipo. I wanted to lose more since I had the pregnant belly look all the time. I guess we will see.

I have also started working out again, 4x per week since now I can tolerate some impact while jarring my body in the cardio machines.

I just want to know....I can't tell if it is still swollen or if this is just the belly I'm going to be left with and be nearly $7000 lighter in my wallet. I really hope not.

Do you know how many CCs of fat were suctioned?
It was one full container (1200 cc's) and a little of the next container (100-200 cc's). Not very much but my belly measured forty inches before the procedure. What about you? How many cc's of fat?
1800 but 1300 of that was fat. I remember seeing 2 containers. My belly was 38 inches around the belly button prior. I think I may purchase a tighter CG. Stay in touch. Happy healing.

Day 13

I went in for my post-op about 3 days ago. Dr. Klein did not see me, he had his nurse Erin consult with me, take pictures, answer questions, and tell me what's next. I did go ahead and purchase the second stage garment for $135. It's expensive, but I felt if I had come this far and spent this much, might as well make sure I get optimal results by wearing the correct compression garments. I also went to Target and bought a $30 spanx garment to wear when I'm sleeping so that I don't feel like I'm just totally loose at night. However, you can tell that the one from Sono Bello holds you in better. The garment is thicker, and even when stretched, you can't see through it.

I am still sore, but it's better a little. I can tolerate if my dogs accidentally step on my abdomen region now, although I quickly usher them off. I have started massaging too, and I'm shocked at the large lumps I have. I will keep massaging. The nurse Erin suggested 2x per day for 15 minutes each.

Visible results vary by day and time of the day. Sometimes I can see that my areas look smaller, and sometimes it appears as if they haven't changed at all. I only ever see improvements in my pelvic area and bra roll area, though. I have yet to look in the mirror without the compression garment and feel like my tummy is smaller.

I still have had no bruising whatsoever. I am starting to itch more and more, and the incision sites have scabbed over and fallen off. Soon I'll start integrating light workout. Erin said light pilates or yoga is fine, as long as I keep it low impact.

I can't wait for the new compression garment to get here. I HATE this first stage garment now. I have resorted to cutting off the arms and legs since it's difficult to wear work clothes with the long arms and the pinch in my thigh where the garment ends. Plus the zipper digs in now and doesn't lay flat very well.

Hi. How are you? Progressing well?
Not like I was hoping for coming up on the fourth week. My belly doesn't seem to be shrinking. My bra roll is better, but now my underarm fat stands out...of course. My pubic area is actually a slit bit smaller. But the biggest part of my lipo is not showing great results so far.
I feel the same. I'm now between 35.5 and 36 inches around my belly button... I feel fine but going from 38 inches to 36 since May 20 is not enough!
Are your lumps gone yet?
No lumps.
