2nd Degree Burns Actually 3rd Degree Dr Shotwell Atlanta Georgia - Atlanta, GA

I have been contacting the office and sending e-mails as to I am not in the country, they were answering my questions and emails until I asked for them to provide the form I signed that indicated I could possibly receive 2nd degree burns, in which that was not included in the risk form I signed, so I have not heard from them in over a month. I will be going to the states in July and will pay them a visit, however I will continue to send e-mail and call so that I have a trail that indicates my unanswered e-mails.

I used the smart lipo.

@slow hair. Thanks I have not heard back from them since I requested a copy of the consent form with the possible risk, which I requested about 6 weeks ago. So I guess second degree burns was not mentioned in the consent so that's probably why I have yet to receive it. I spoke with a lawyer and they said to wait a couple more months to see if the damage from the burn goes away and if not to contact them again.

By the time I saw your review, I has already left a message for a call back. When they did call me back (she said she was with corp) I told her about your story. Evidently she pulled it up as we were on the phone n was surprised, or acted like it. I told her no thank u. Do you the laser got on the top of your skin some how?

Thanks you because I received an email from whom ever you spoke with, but she might be surprised as to the Atlanta office probably did not mention anything to the effect of giving a patient second degree burns, so they kept it in house. I asked how it happened and have no explanation, I asked was the laser to high she said no, but through my research it had to be on top of the first layer of skin to cause those burns, but I am glad you mentioned it to whom ever because I was getting no where, so hopefully I can get my money back on go to this skin repair place for treating scars, also the incision areas are visible and were not small at all I have a scar like I was cut on my right flank. I did not post those because I was more concerned about the burn. I have all my e-mail from the Atlanta office saying it was a laser burn and they apologize, but in the meanwhile I'm stuck with a scar on my right flank, and a burn on my abdomen. but I thank you for bringing my situation up so that maybe get compensated so that I can get treatment to remove or help eliminate my scar.

Oh its no problem - glad I could help in any small way, esp. seeing what you went through with those people. You are good - I would have been o the news, newspaper, picking their location and all.
